Subject: [U21] Cymru U21 talk

I would buy him, but i doubt i'd afford him right now.

Well, we snuck into 4th place.... which is probably a bit better than my management deserved and due morr to other teams slipping up.

Task failed sucessfully, i guess!

Also i guess elections for NT will be soon.

I saw myself as a bit of a stop-gap due to no one else being available/interested. Do we have anyone that wants to have a go?

I think we should look to put someone in who will then also be in charge for the next qualifiers, just so everything is settled. I found it tricky to go straight into competitive games with no tactics etc.

It's a great finish for us to be 4th - nothing to be sniffed at with the player base we have!.That Adrian Rees injury is a bit of a killer for me over pre-season though!

I'd take it on if no one else wants it - a little time pushed at the moment but as a longer-term thing if we're looking at a season of friendlies ahead of the next U21 qualifiers then the next few months aren't as important as the season that follows it.

Woule be great if you are up for it. It's not an easy job, what with the limited pool of players, and i'm not sure i really suit it.... i prefer to have my way of playing and then get players to match that. With cymru U21s you kind of have to work the other way around, as you're unlikely to have a full team of the kind of players you want, so you have to find the best way to use them.

And yes, the Rees injury is badly timed. It's like the sokker gods heard you say you were looking to sell and just decided to screw with you!

my advice is whoever does it, to setup assitente, even if you cba to update it every week, you can give me permissions as sort of the assistant and i can update it every week and post somewhere here or dm the manager, i know it seems like we don't have many players but there's a lot more than 40 that are in the U21. easier to do via a web browser than on your phone and i understand that not everyone uses a pc or laptop for sokker.

i don't believe there is any official cup next season, so only the druid cup or something similar to sign up to.

Thank you for the votes - looking forward to having a shot with the U21s. I’m away from my PC until Tuesday but will be having a look around the setup on my phone in the meantime before I can have a look at the full setup in Asistente.

Blue, I didn’t see you were going for the NT position until checking the result just now!

As an aside, any thoughts on the Druids Cup? We weren’t in the last one, the level will realistically be above what we can compete, I think some friendlies around our level by comparison would probably be safer to help the ranking.

Good luck with it and i hope you have some fun with it.

I think it depends what you are after and what you think you can achieve. I'm not sure we're likely to pick up enough ranking points to positively affect our draw by that much, but playing in druids cup might be a nice bit of fun.

Either way, i think if you can get your tactics sorted this season and get things set up to play in the qualifiers i think you'll be ok.

tbh i forgot elections were this soon, and after the long reigning NT manager started ignoring my dms, i assumed he wasn't going to run again

druid cup is good for as long as you're in it so you have guranteed friendlies. and don't forget friendlies in NT = no training so don't have to keep players to their trained position.

I didn't see anything to say they were happening, which is always a bit annoying.

I have no issue with the current guy, but if one of the current Welsh users wanted a go then i would vote for them instead.... assuming i actually realise the election is happening!
