Subject: Season 75

Cym Wanderers nearly clinging on to do me a favour! Can’t complain with my result after going 1-0 down early on. Emphasis on trainees now for the next few weeks ahead of the run in.

Terrible game to watch for my lot. After being free scoring for the last 3 games my mids suddenly only wanted to pass backwards and to defender trainees who have no skills to actually play with the ball at their feet yet.

We defended pretty well and scraped a winner with around 10 mins to go.

Pretty lucky, but means that we got 12 points from a tough run of 4 games that easily could have been 4 defeats on paper, so i have to be happy with that.

That's a run of bot teams done and now will have Blue then Britain. Wonderfully i've amassed 5 injuries in the last couple of games. 3 of those would probably have been involved in the next 2 games, but i guess that is just how tgese things go.... i just hope we can keep the scores respectable for these games!

I think it's fair to say that Cym Wanderers have had their time but it's probably done now!

Yep, those older players have had a big drop off.

2-0 loss to blue doesn't look bad, but that was a real beating in terms of performance, way off their pace.

I could try and blame all the injuries, but they are just better.

Anyway, the loss doesn't matter for now. Just keep training. At the end of next season i can think abour selling some of the current trainees and picking up a few new ones...

Lost one of my trainees to a 28 day injury in the 90th minute. That is tough to take, ruins the evening for me!

Well that might have big implications on the title race!

Suprising result! I think that is the first point i've ever taken from Britain. They were the better team, but we created enough chances that i don't think anyone can complain too much about a draw.

I'm not sure it cahnges things too much fir the title, Blue's GD probably meant Britain had to win their head to head and that is still the case....

Any thoughts on the new international cup? It’s a nice addition, will be interesting to see how it plays out in practicality for training and injuries though - plus if they’re skewing ticket money downwards as a response to it for competition income you’d have to feel that it would hurt leagues like us with less competition income.

It's been that sort of season - I did the same earlier on! If it's any consolation they nearly took a draw against my first team so they're not too badly off
