It is possible that this was my farewell match as NT coach. I prepared for every scenario, deleted my tactics, but at the same time I also registered for the European Championship, with the condition that my registration would only be valid if I win the elections (my successor can decide otherwise and is not obliged to follow my option).
Next weekend we will play friendly against Denmark. Go Cymru!
NT friendlies (first part of the season):
Week 2: Denmark
Week 3: Crna Gora
Week 4: Australia
Week 5: EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON 23
Week 6: EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON 23
Week 7: EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON 23
Week 8: EC or Ireland (U27+4xU28)

Cymru - Danmark 1:2
Friendly match
The first match of my second season as NT coach was against the Danish national team, which had recently changed its manager, so I had no idea what lineup or tactics to expect from them. We held the score at 0–0 until the 69th minute, then conceded two goals within four minutes from two opposing strikers who had come on as substitutes. Our substitute forward, who came on in the 79th minute, managed to pull one back, so we lost 2–1 to the Danish NT, ranked 57th in the world.
I couldn’t understand why our offensively minded striker - who is in top form and possesses exceptional (without exaggeration, world-class) skills - was unable to create a decent chance or score. I hope he will perform better in the upcoming matches.
Next weekend, our opponent will be Crna Gora.
