Subject: Season 77

How are we all expecting next season to go?

For me, the international cup will ptobably be quite low on my lost of priorities. I'm still in with a lot of tough treams, even after demotion. I don't think i have enough squad depth to compete in this and the league. I've put my money into coaches for this season. Improved both youth and assistant coaches to see if that helps my trainees along; so that means little or no money for additional players.

In the league, top 2 are on a different level, so the rest of us are fighting for 3rd. With no new players a lot of my oldies are getting worse. My defender trainees are decent, but i also have very young trainees that i need to use, so i think my ratings will be down this season.

In short, i expect:

Int cup - relegation
Dom cup - maybe get to semis again
League - 3rd - 5th

Not expecting much this season, Just hope not to many injuries and a couple of decent youth pulls.

Are you going for the youth approach for a few seasons?

Looks like a few of us are going to be in a similar position with training, then.

Yeah i am , Got 10 youth`s coming in the next 7 weeks one with a talent of 3.2 but 19 years.

With talent like that hopefully they can still be really good.

Close game for me in international cup. Another loss though, so i think i'm 0 for 7 there....

The other team had better ratinhs but we gave a decent account of ourselves, leading twice to end up losing 3-2.

Only real downside was a player getting a red card. That guy would have played against phoenix, so if we lose now that is my excuse...

An unexpected draw for me on Sunday to get the ball rolling this season - should be off the mark tonight now though. There's such an enormous amount of games early season now, training is a bit mad literally everyone is on 100%!

There are a lot of games to manage in the early season now. I suppose it’s good for training, but might make the end of the season seem quite quiet!

A narrow loss to LB (I would argue we were the better team! ;D) and then a bot bash in the league.

International cup has only been more pain, with an expected loss tonight. We have performed ok, but we just lack a bit up front.

Haven't had as much time to comment lately, but i've enjoyed the international cup. I think for us it's great, as we have those bot teams in the league so can put a strong team out.

Unfortunately we've had some good performances, but lost every game in the international cup. I think we've been very unlucky and have given better teams a good game.

The domestic cup has gone well, with a great result against Britain. I know it's not their best team, but they had some great players on the field and a number of upcoming Welsh talent.

It was a good game to watch. Very even in the first half, but we started the second half well and got a good lead. Had to hang on a bit at the end, but that was always going to the case.

Some result that! It's been a mixed bag for me, a 0-0 with Swansea was very disappointing but I had to move players around for training, was hoping they'd have enough to win it but wasn't the case. It's a serious fixture load with the cup and international cup, going to be a big adjustment for the second half of the season when training time becomes more scarce.

Well, that's bottom of the IC group confirmed after a 2-1 loss.

Unlike the last time we played them, where i thought we were the better team and should have won, we were second best here. Still had chances to grab a couple more goals, but it wasn't to be.

After the league match today we have the cup final to look forward to. After that i'll have to look at cost cutting, as the match revenue is going to drop off a lot.

Bit of a bizarre game for me tonight - was 0-1 down at half time to the bots! Season is very unbalanced now I agree, revenues are going to be very important. Finally splashed the cash on the stadium and recouped a lot of money from my first big sale, I’m going to leave it in the account for now I think to soak up some of the revenue drop. I can’t do much more with my coaching setup at the moment either so with a focus on Welsh players I guess the only other thing to do is increase my academy size?

Soundly beaten in the final. We held on for a long time, but it was always coming. Well done Blue.

I’ll have to look at trimming the squad now. I’m paying a lot for coaches, which I hope will pay off in the long run, so with the reduced ticket income I will have to get rid of players.

Curtis is currently taking up 17% of my wage bill, double the next highest paid player, so I may not be able to keep him. He should pop in pace this week or next, so he may be sold or at least moved into team training from now on, as his pops are quite slow now.
