That's some junior to pull, fair play - I'll break the news to Gavin Harper that his NT dreams are over!
Looking on sktables, I’ve got this guy who’s marked as a potential super talent but gutting that he’s 18 now, 21 weeks left so won’t come out until he’s 20. Going to leave him in the academy and see how he develops alone, even if it’s just for the novelty of him only having 1 name like a Brazilian footballer.

yeah it's unfortunate. just gotta hope he over performs his estimated level and gets a decent sum. can still be trained but will be significantly slower.

How accurate are the price estimates on SKtables?
One if my trainees is valued quite high, but I'm not sure if i believe it!

Prices have been calculated base on similar players/transactions found (see. Table of similar players). The Suggested price is the median price of the top most similar players. Min price is the average of 2 lower prices of top similar, Max price average of 2 higher.
it's based on the middle ground of similar players around the same age so it's fairly accurate, you may get more, may get less, depends on the days + times you sell, and what part of the season you sell. Proctor apparently is valued at 3.4m, but that's mainly cause of his age being 22, which in general, outside of a really good talented 16, 17 yo, is around the most valuable time to sell a player who has developed. would i get 3.4m? probably not, i see him going for 2-2.5m at best, given his current form. maybe goes up to 3m if people get a bidding war and his form was a bit higher.
i've also had players sold for over thier value, and well under their value, so its usually luck, but it's a good guide line, if you have a player worth 1m for example on the site, you'd most like get 500k at least, and shouldn't be too disappointed with anything after 600k.

Not sure what to do then... may put him up for a bit less than he's estimated and see how it goes.... the money could get the stadium sorted which would be a big help... I just prefer the idea of training the players to their potential...
can't gurantee he'll sell for exact estimate, always a gamble- for me, my advice is to just sell on, make money, so you can better set up your training, youth, trainers, maybe even save up for a good youth and drop 2m on them yourself, that kind of thing. but i get the want to keep players - i kept a guy that was in my club from when i signed up, sodl him maybe 3 seasons ago now, was a sad time. after that i just kinda fell out of the sentimentle values and just move on when i think it's the right time - if your player is popping fine, no need to move on yet, if you can get his pace or whatever skill your training to a good level by the end of the season, he will be worth more.
My 16 year old keeper - popped back up to good this morning. Now that’s what I call distribution!

nice gk with 0 keeping, reminds me of the opposie i had - kupar, gk came out with moderate gk but his side stats were good enough to compete outfield.
A sokker version of Ederson!
I wouldn’t mind if he had above tragic literally anywhere else, would’ve taken the edge off somewhat.

17yo, popped to solid this morning. Shame about his tech as he’s quite well balanced apart from that. I’ve got a bit of tech training going on - thinking I might put him on that to the end of the season then consider selling him then if I was to?

maybe? the question would be if he'll be worth more now than he would be at the end of the season since he'll be turning 18. however it's not impossible he hits the old total skill of 29.
a good way to see if he's talented is if he pops to 1 tech next week - that means his talent is potentially above 3.5.
now don't take this for what will happen, because it's all in a perfect world - i set a test player on sokker assistente and gave him 3.75 talent - so below good talent but decent enough.
talent: 3.75
weeks of training:4
training points each week: 98
trainer tech: 16
I tried testing more weeks but it put training into when he would be 16 which means it would be less points - but i reduced the amount of training points to be around the offset
again, THIS IS IN A PERFECT WORLD, where we know his exact talent and perfect conditions, no injuries.
if you have room for advanced then i don't see why not, just don't put too much hope into him and don't be afraid to sell/sack if he doesn't pop.
*just calling him up to NT to track him on assistente, feel free to sack him regardless.

His talent ended coming out at 4.9 to 6 which was a shame, so he's not super talented but with advanced training agreed could definitely try and get that tech up to something serviceable. I can get him into the advanced so see how he goes.
eh, i'd rather buy a random 17 yo on the market right now, at least then it has some mystery, what level is the coach in your youth?

Brilliant - best I can realistically afford at the moment.
I've got juniors coming out next 4 weeks too, an 18yo currently at formidable next Thursday so hopefully something relatively promising with him. A 16yo GK in 3 weeks time as well, but annoyingly dropped to average today. To be honest with him I'm hoping that he doesn't have too much in keeper stats so he could possibly be retrained outfield at that age.
