Subject: Youths
It feels like we're getting some good young players coming through. Hopefully thus will translate into results for the u21s in a couple of seasons.
And while we're on the topic of keepers, i have to decide what to do with my keeper situation.
The two i have need different training, so i think i will need to move Orphan on. I don't know if any welsh managers would want to take him on?
I saw i thread on the international forum where you can ask for people to train potential internationals, so i could ask there if he is still in your plans.

That’s a shame, I think he’d be a good long term trainee for you. I have started the bids for you ……don’t spend it all at once though?
It’s a difficult one - we’re in desperate need for a U21 keeper but the more options we have the better. I’ll get more for him than I will for the 17yo who’s still decent though, but crucially I need to keep increasing my income really - my stadium is a good 10-20000 seats smaller than our other users so it’s definitely somewhere I need to close the gap!
nice an 18 yo gk in youth today, 26 weeks 12-14 lmao. mans gonna be retiring by the time he gets out
I thought Bromage may fetch more than that, but it shows how rubbish GK prices are tbh.
Hopefully the new manager will give him decent training. Seems like we are desperate for keepers.
We definitely are - to get a bit more for Bromage would've been nice but it is what it is! At least there's a good market for people buying 16yos with a view to training them so we'll see how he kicks on. I've sold off my Chilean keeper now so I've got two Welsh keepers at 21yo and 17yo to keep training, should take a few £k off my wage bill now too.

Shame about his tech and stamina but apart from that he's quite nicely distributed!
Yeah, but hopefully is talent is ok and he might get a few side pops there.
I'll train him in pace until the end of next season and then see what to do with him from there.
While defender might seem the obvious choice, he might make a good striker if he can pop regular enough. Some defending on a striker is always good....

no need to worry about either, i think i overly prioritised tech for defenders, although it's one of the top 3 or 4 stats for a top defender, especially if you wanna sell for big bucks when they're in their 20s, but this guy just pace for 3-4 seasons, if he pops well enough, switch to def for another 3-4 seasons, then end a tech/passing/pm season, at 24,25 who knows what he'll look like.
meanwhile stamina builds up super fast if they're playing at least 1 official game a week, by the time they get to 20, 21, stamina is usually at least 9/10 when you get them from a young age, maybe sooner if good talent.

guy doesnt have best grass and low condition by the looks of it
also i now have 4 gks in my youth - 2 coming in the middle of next season, 2 not for another 2 seasons. not too excited by any of them, but 1 of the ones next season will be 17.
