Subject: Welsh Managers

Madcat4 is the newest welsh manager in sokker. He joined the game on the 7th this month.

I`ve sent him Morsey`s newbie guide. Let`s hope he will stick with us;)

He was here before, but I've been mailing him and he's looking forward to starting afresh. :)

Jay_Jay has lost his team, because of his inactivity I guess.

As well another nice guy, Lostprophets is no longer a sokker member :|

Wales lost another 3 managers this week. From 21 members, now it`s down to 18 :|
Can`t there be done some promo in the local sports magazines? I would do it myself if you would give me some directions.

LP's going to be returning after uni, I think it was uni anyway...

We only have 16 active users now , lowest I've ever seen! Also looks like vogue isn't gonna stay around either! All of this means very little talent coming into the u21 team.
It's not looking good for the future of Cymru in sokker!

You are right Keith. Unfortunately not only the Welsh community in sokker is loosing ground, but as well the general sokker community is slowly dying as well. The devs aren`t doing anything in saving this game. One time there were about 70,000 users in sokker, look now how many there still are around here :|

Can you think of a way of attracting more Welsh users to the game?
I`m thinking of spamming some sports site or something.

There is no motivation in the game, people get bored and fed up. Sadly :(

Communication was never the strongest point in devs-staff-users relationship.

And these new shitty promotion tools are total madness. Greg`s sales department sucks if he has one, which I doubt. I believe he and his staff of devs are just incapable of understanding the principals of managing such an attracting game.

I`ve just sent Vogue an e-mail about his plans regarding sokker and that we miss him:)
Let`s hope he`ll log in to tell us about them;)

I remember when we (me, Rhys, Owen etc) joined back in 2009, there were a lot of users active on the Welsh forums, and we were all able to enjoy a bit of banter with Sokker in school, not sure if it had anything to do with GCSE and current A Level studies but there doesn't seem to be that spark that there was back when we joined. There were 30+ users in Wales when we joined (admittedly, I think at a time there were 10 of us from school) and now there are only 15, and the forums are barely ever updated, it's a big shame because it was really fun, there doesn't seem to be the enjoyment that there once was. I logged on at some point earlier in the month to find that I'd only logged in twice in the previous 50 days - which, considering the 50-day inactivity rule, is ridiculous. I'm still not sure whether to just pack it in for a while and maybe see if I come back in the future, or try and force myself to stick with it. I'm not having a go at anyone here, because there are obvious reasons as to why people would leave/are leaving, it's a big shame though.
