Subject: Welsh Managers
I remember when we (me, Rhys, Owen etc) joined back in 2009, there were a lot of users active on the Welsh forums, and we were all able to enjoy a bit of banter with Sokker in school, not sure if it had anything to do with GCSE and current A Level studies but there doesn't seem to be that spark that there was back when we joined. There were 30+ users in Wales when we joined (admittedly, I think at a time there were 10 of us from school) and now there are only 15, and the forums are barely ever updated, it's a big shame because it was really fun, there doesn't seem to be the enjoyment that there once was. I logged on at some point earlier in the month to find that I'd only logged in twice in the previous 50 days - which, considering the 50-day inactivity rule, is ridiculous. I'm still not sure whether to just pack it in for a while and maybe see if I come back in the future, or try and force myself to stick with it. I'm not having a go at anyone here, because there are obvious reasons as to why people would leave/are leaving, it's a big shame though.
In fact, we're soon down to 14, just happened to check the Division One teams to see how the various clubs are doing, there are 0 human teams in One.01, 3-4 in One.02 which I'm yet to check for activity, 1 in One.03 (who is in fact on Day 50 of 50 for allowed inactivity before his team is deleted), and I'm yet to check One.04.
*edit* Okay, I've checked the Division One teams, and out of the 32 that there are, only 6 are actively human-run, all of which are split 4-2 between One.02 and One.04.

You should stay here in order to help the community to grow up once again. Unfortunately DEVs doesn't understand that their behaviour are speeding up users to leave the game. Instead of trying to keep them, they just don't care. And this is much more tragic for such a small community like this.
Unfortunately this game is going down slowly, but quickly. Nowadays the game had over 70,000 users, now there are less the a half of this number.
The lack of interest it`s seen as there haven`t been any changes for ages and the communication with the sokker staff is do`n to zero, it doesn`t exist. I`m still here in this game not for the game, just for the great friends I`ve made over the years.

This is the problem, the last updates I remember (other than the page layouts) was the disastrous match engine update, and they have never spoken to us about the update much apart from "here's the new update", essentially.
The problem for me has never been the engine updates, it is the way the game looks. It does not look like a game designed for 2013 going into 2014, and that to me is a big factor when i look to join a new game.
Then there is the issue of lack of development....no comment on that front :/

There's also (for me) the recently-discovered wait for a live match for an ad, ads that are already on the website... why the need to put one up before a live match?
Okay, so it seems as though I'm going to be joining the list of Welsh managers that have quit the game.
I've just had a few juniors come out of the school today, including a £143k-rated 'keeper, so I will plonk them in the side and replace the older players with them. If that doesn't give me any inspiration to continue the game, then I'm going to be leaving.

Hello, As for this player http://sokker.org/player/PID/29566684, I find it interesting
I'll most likely be joining you at some point. There is just no motivation or inspiration for me to continue.
Guys, you can still have motivation by training Welsh lads. Sell all foreign players and invest only in Welsh guys. This is what I will do when my motivation will be at a low level.
hmmmm ... not complete your opinion ... see, since I make this U21-thing, round about half a dozen interesting youthplayers ... and what happens: they dont play. If they not get the minimum of every week one game ... then better selling to abroad, where they maybe have the chance to show their talent.
Or: welsh manager dont want to play longer here in the game. Than there is a chance to get out of this a team a farm-team. Means: play the game consequent only for young welsh players.

You got me wrong friend, I told them not to end their adventure with the game, but try to help the community by training internal players.
You see, they don`t have motivation anymore, so maybe this could be their last chance to stay into the game.

Welsh community is down to 10 :|
Is there anyone still training welsh players or is interested in the game?:d

I'm still training players, but interest is fading, as the community doesn't exist here anymore :(
