juytt to Raul
I agree with the comments, the only "strategy" will be to pay more to have a better chance to take out a good junior, whereas 3/4 are already weak at the entrance and 90% of the youngsters who come out are saleable at less than 2000€.

No announcement to change the current highly random system, over which nobody has any control, except to pay more to get more luck. It is obvious that the richest clubs (that's what I would do) will pay for all the facilities!

I'm really disappointed, there has been a lot of discussion about juniors, and this whole announcement seems to come out of nowhere, without taking into account the community discussions. And since I've recently summarized all the concerns with the juniors, as I'm too disgusted, I'm doing it again to let off steam!

1) Boring Junior league. un watchable games, the skills are globally too poor and poorly distributed for a descent tactic and live watch. 4-3-3 long balls and runs, done !

2) 90% of juniors are worthless, in and out of school (less than 2k€ in market). Only 5% get talent or skills, and more rarely both. 1-2%. This ratio is huge, we should get a better curve of number of valuable players.

3) The vast majority of schools are in deficit, We can sometimes sell for millions few youngsters, but coaches forget to count all wages for all youngsters as expenses during the (very long) time of training! (in the Young school but also afterwards in the first team). Otherwise, we might as well go directly to the market, it's simpler and cheaper than Young School.

4) Juniors who leaves school at the age of 19 or 20y are for the most part worthless, due to the max limit of young s skills (10), and the linear/age progression system of sokker.

5) Even with an extraterrestrial coach, the evaluation of a junior's progress is near impossible, because of the random "blind" level system. It is necessary to use statistical tools and to have at least 20 weeks at school to get an idea of a junior's potential.

6) Juniors are uncompetitive at start. Juniors cannot exceed 9 to 10 skill levels and just few rare juniors can play at position (good distribution of skills). This means most of the young s have no interest to play in first team, but play for training ! (those boring Friendlies you know ...)

1) perhaps junior matches could have the performance boosted? I agree it is just too boring to watch.
2) agree, there should be more average juniors, the distribution is not good
3) i think that this is connected with 2)
4) agree, due to the max limit of individual skills and max limit of incoming overall skill for older juniors
6) well there is nothing like B team .. so players between 18-23 are too far away from A team

The big problem is that if you get good juniors easily, players would be worthless. Maybe the solution could be to reduce wages but not better juniors, it would be boring. Really, I think this system works perfectly.

On the other hand, with changes you will be able to get better juniors because you can know the talent...I don't like this because better juniors will come and the illusion will be lost.
I think that these things are what make these games special, that things also depend on luck, and it's like real life.

1) Boring Junior league.

I agree in this point, juniors should be boosted a little and reduce field size.

@Raul what will happen with our coaches? It's important because I'm looking for an unearhly coach, and I've been saving a long time for this. Now, I don't know what to do.

Training facilities should have a different rule.

Instead of allowing you to hire a better coach, it should just limit the efficiency of the coach and let you hire whoever you want.

E.g.
If you have a level 16 coach, but your facilities are at level 14, then the training should go as if your coach is level 14 (or 13.5, if decimals matter).

Someone has just paid 19 999 999 $ for an uneartly coach. This should be cleared out :/

An unearhtly coach can cost over 15m€, if they don't work like now it can be a disastrous investment.

Terrion: I just saw it :O

Also, the main coach is usually the coach with the least salary of the team since the general skill is useless for him. So you usually look for a coach with as little keeper skill as possible (if you don't train keepers) to reduce his salary. This is... strange :)

I'm sorry, but why would someone be so stupid to pay 20M for a coach??
This is no beginner flaw, this is just plain stupid...

They've been competing and at the end they have bid a lot.

It's too much, but anyway unearthly coaches in market cost more than 10m€.
2020-09-12 13:49:20
Then I would never pay tranfer money for a coach,,, I'd try to recruit him...
2020-09-12 13:52:08
A reason why ? They got the money. Wining at this game cost a lot and need to scarify training and trading at high level.
Sokker distribute a lot of money during times for poor level teams/farmers/sleepers teams (much less expenses, then training, trading). This unearthly coach goes to DIV. 4, like youngs talents goes playing in poor level leagues.

strategies, this is how the game works

The big problem is that if you get good juniors easily, market would create inflation.

Its quite the opposite ^^ You need some economic practice :-) Inflation is already here for years. There r e a lot of cash in many teams (and usually the less competitive) and we got around 5% only of valuable young players. A lot of cash + rarity = Inflation. 10M€ now, for a top young player it was absurd few seasons ago. But now a max skill player can be sell 15-20M€ and if it follow this logical growth in few seasons top skilled players will cost 20-30M€. If we don't stop this, we need to loose many many (rich) users to stop the inflation "naturally".
