Subject: »[GD] Beginners problems
1) The look of the site really has to improve and keep up with the times. Looks are very important.
2) There should be some small tutorials just with the basics.
3) A full in depth guide should be available and easily navigable. There are many tips that are important which one finds out only if he participates in the forums. A lot of people are shy and don't ask questions. Maybe we can compile all the info from all the newbie forums and add it to the guide.
4) In countries with few managers where you have bots in the top league, newbies should be directly promoted to the top league. Otherwise they get bored playing in the 2nd and 3rd league and leave.
5) Even sokker can't escape inflation so maybe give the newbies more cash when they start.
6) Automatically assign a volunteer mentor to the newbies. I've tried mailing a lot of newbies offering to help them but I rarely got a reply.
7) Initially the slow pace can be boring, I remember wishing for more matches when I joined. Maybe all newbie teams should be allowed to play a second friendly against only other newbie teams. Maybe for the first 3 seasons.
8) Also to reduce the gap between the older and newer teams, maybe higher ranked teams should pay more for things like stadium expenses, salaries, auction fees etc.
FOR EXAMPLE
Ranking points < 2000 : Auction fee 1%
2000 - 4000 : Auction fee 2%
4000 - 6000 : Auction fee 3%
6000 - 8000 : Auction fee 4%

in my opinion, especially for luring new players it is very important to promote game on social networks, especially facebook and instagram.
And then there is another thing and that is creating the app for Android and iOS. (it should have basic functions - setting lineup, access to transfer market, building stadium, graphs of training (for PLUS users) and tactical editor). I think nowadays it will be very hard to get new users to game that can be played only in browser. Especially younger people prefer games which they can play on their mobile phones or tablets.

How about you pin those three GD topics to the top of the forum so that they don't disappear and are always visible?
@to any staff member out there actually

There's a max of 5 sticky topics. 3 are allready occupied by info topics.
This one's a discussion topic, and therefor no sticky topic. But how about making less new topics so we don't have to "dig" for older topics while they may only be 1 day old...
I get it are exciting times but in a new forum 3 days old there's allready over 40 topics opened...

K, didn't know about the limit, yeah I was just wondering as there is a total flood due to the threads being created.
But if I were you I'd let them be so as many ideas even concerning similar areas of the game simply tackle different problems so they would all get lost if in just few thematic threads. And in my opinion, as soon as we get the first real Friday update, it will change the community's approach and either even more topics will appear, or the enthusiasm will be slowed down :P Let's hope for the best but not put too much pressure on the devs...

It's all to prevent multiple pages in multiple threads ongoing the same topics and even other less related propositions. I'd rather have 1 clear thread ongoing all topics about that thread in stead of the other.
9) Also to reduce the gap between the older and newer teams, maybe players could pop slightly faster in lower ranked teams, assuming all teams have the same level and number of coaches. Of course the newbies won't have coaches as good as the higher ranked teams so it won't bother the higher ranked teams and at the same time it will help the lower ranked teams to narrow the gap a bit.
just give the newbies better starting players (what they receive now is absolute garbage) and more money (for completing the tutorial)
