Subject: »[GD] Beginners problems

Hi, I would like to ask you a question, regarding the search for a 16 coach. One of the old users claims that to find a 16 coach, you need to choose 16 16 17 16 17 17 17 16. Another says that when he chooses to do so, he searches for all of them for 15. Do you think it makes sense to choose 16 17?

it doesnt matter, you can set up 16 or 17 levels, but before you click on the Recruit button, you can see that all 16 and 17 skills were reduced to 15 anyway. So you can set 8*15 skills and it will be the same

the new website design sucks. this is directly linked to the loss of users. I still use the sokker classic theme to this day and I don't give it up.

Both designs suck, the newer one is a bit better but far from 2020

For me, the "new" design is fine.

A new manager joined us in Belgium from hattrick and he thinks sokker is way more modern than hattrick, more dynamical and an attractive interface. Then I wonder, how is it possible that that game has more than 30x the users as sokker has...

I've played both games and I stopped playing hattrick years ago. Imo, sokker is a far better game even in it's current "state". What hattrick has going for it is that it's been going for years and built up a huge number of players. They also have developers constantly fixing bugs and listening to concerns of players and it's now a well oiled product. Let's be honest, until recently we were all worried about flash stopping and in the 8.5 years I've played, the last 2-3 weeks is the first time we've had a developer listening to us. So I think it's fairly clear why they have more users but hopefully now that we are getting some attention and some likely enhancements/improvements/modifications this will see the number of users rise in time (hopefully!).

and what make me move sokker was a friend stating that training was the same and that was the case i loved it! then for a season i just trained did not watched single game no point but then loosing 13:0 in a cup make me start play seriously here...sorry guys
and yes 2D and tactics editor make the difference i can play this game as it is even without single changes just few annoying bugs fixed old them game is perfect

This is why I love the game. Watching the games (on 2D as I hate 3D) and the ability to select the tactics. The possibiities are endless given you can write whatever tactic you like, no other football online game is like that. This is the closest thing to Championship manager (or whatever it's now called?). Given those 2 huge positives, this really should be the no.1 online football game on the planet and by some distance too ...

So I guess what I am saying, there really should be huge potential for sokker to take off if the developers get things right or nearly right.
