Well I've been here 15 years and it's a habit now lol
I used to love the old youth system and the excitement of hoping for a young superstar, now I keep hoping for that next star and it just won't happen loll , it's been a few years

Well I've been here 15 years and it's a habit now lol - exactly the same case here :))
Nowadays: I like to train young players. I look forward to Thursday's training and new juniors. I am happiest when I buy a new promising player for training.
What was it in the past? The community, good friends I could discuss the game with. League and cup games, big rivalry. National teams. Scouting the players, communicating their improvement and training plans with owners. Updating the player databases, writing articles for the community, helping newbies, promoting the game so my country had more active users ..
What is the single best thing about sokker? And what attached me to the game from the beginning? That I can watch the 2D games, see the impact of tactics and then I could make the changes to be better prepared for the next match. The fact that you can analyze tactics of your opponent and then create counter-tactics. I also love the system of skills. That you can recognize each skill (and its approximate level) during the match, makes the game so flexible.

About 15 years here too. The best part is Sokker?
- The community
- The 2D viewer that lets you understand the importance of every skill of your players
- The low paced gameplay that makes it great for long term strategy planification
These things should never disappear :D

I've been here on Sokker for 13 years and my passion is still intact, even if sometimes put to the test by the excessive random of some games which penalizes those who spend time in the game!
I love these aspects of the game:
- the 2d visualization which represents the soul of Sokker
- The editor and therefore the possibility to interact through the game tactics with the result of the matches
- the community and the possibility of making new friends all over the world. This aspect is my favorite and for this reason I have been coaching national teams for 25 seasons!
Long live SOKKER

The possibility of nurturing homegrown talents from junior school to stardom! This has been my club's motivation from the start. I like having an actual choice of doing this instead of being forced to buy trainees from outside for all positions. There is, however, room for improvement of the junior school in this aspect, but I guess that is a matter for another thread.
And of course, the 2D player. May it always remain.

forums, Match engine/tactic editor and training.
forum: I think the managers need a medium/long time to build up the team, and only some kind o f people like this kind of games. Well.. that's the kind of people it worth talking to..
match engine/tactic editor: I love the way the ME has solved the problem of offensive and defensive tactics (with and without the ball) in a synthetic but challenging way.
training: it's hard (and it should be harder), and I love it.

I hope that some stuff will be implemented that would cater to old users who don't have much free time anymore, but still love the game.
For example:
- Ability to pay "local team" for a friendly match;
- Sunday squad and Wednesday squad.

Motivation:
- The tactic creation where we can move the players in the lot of mini zone or box. The tactic decision is in your hand.
- The old match engine was really good, where we the midfielders can give through passes to the strikers easier.
- I love this 2D matchviewer.
- There are only 8 training skills, this is not to complicated(in a lot of manager game there are a lot of skills it so demotivated and boring for me)
- There are only 2 match, what is enough for me.

watching young players grow is great, especially when you find out they're having big talent
