In my opinion, everybody can play with shorter passing tactic or long passing tactic in this match engine. It depend on how you move your players on tactic creator, and depends from the enemy tactic.

My biggest problem in this match engine, really hard to give through passes in the middle from 2012. Need for this really good average rating and random.

I do not completely agree:

It is true that through your current tactics you can make your game more direct or long passes or short passes. But just a little.

When you reach the maximum evolution of your players: magical DEF in playmaking or passes, MID with super-divine creation, etc., no matter the tactic you use, players will always try to keep possession of the ball, and that, sometimes, is ineffective.

If you could order them, despite the risk of losing the ball, to try more risky passes, I think that the game would be of great help. Then it depends on whether the manager decides to use that option or not. You can always use the "neutral" option and let the game evolve like today .But you could too use style direct o more control (two more options do not harm anyone) :)

I really like and use several times the SETE tool of Terrion. So, I give my cheers to implement his tool an more.

I always had in mind several improvements about the tactics, some of these has alrewady been written, as the possibility to select the free kick player and corner player. I would like to add these ideas:

1 - defensive tactic: instead of select, for the match engine, the lower square of tactic where the ball his during the opponents possesion, you can select the defensive positioning of your players, by adding a new panel tactic (maybe you can copy it from attacking tactic) or even by using another tactic. It could improve and fix many unreal situation, for instance:
- When you have a throw-in defensive side it's always an unrealistic pain
- Team that have a unrealistic high line defense now can get a big advantage. I could set my team to play lower in order to have more space to play, with the related risk.
- It could be helpful for growing defenders a little less stronger in primary skills with more side skills. I really can't understand how real is a player divine in defenders and pace and average in other skills. This kind of player get too much advantages by this match engine

2 - Throw-in and corner player dispositions: you, devs, hoping that it's not too difficult, you can "extend" the tactic editor with one more vertical line outside the side line, where I can move the ball, by maintaining the same number of " horizontal lines". There, I can select the disposition during the throw in. I can extend the same concept to the corner. Even here, I could fix some unrealistic situations
- today I need to decide, during the side attacking stage, if the external striker go toward or get far from the side line in order to avoid the throw in. With this feature, I can decide the disposition in both cases.
- If I have a defender very tall with a discrete striking level (sometimes happens), I would like to use them to improve my chances.

About other ideas already written, +1 if I can regulate the passing distance and risk level of the players.

I really hope that dev team could read this, toghether to other ideas. Thank you very much for the dream that you let us to live :)

has anyone ever thought about the possibility of interrupting the live game?
if a tactic is a complete fail or you forgot some option - whatever - each manager has the possibility once in a match to interrupt the game for let's say a minute in order to change some settings or bring a substitute.

If you want to coach live, I think you should apply for coach of a real live team :-)
In here...that's way too complex. It'll require a complete new ME from scratch and actually a complete different game.
Secondly, if 1 team's owner has the advantage he can be online every game and another one can't it's not fair for the other team since he loses the opportunity to change his settings.

tactical editor is the must of Sokker Manager
I like this idea, and we need possibility to combine tectics, but system training must be improve for that, because it is based on the player position, so if you train 5 mid with a 451 , if you go to 532, you cannot loose training.

One thing that would be a great addition to sokker tactical editor would be a possibility to change shirt numbers of two players, because in one tactic you have no. 10 as a winger and in another no. 8 is playing wing position and to use both tactics in the same match you must change 35 positions of those two players (and then you have the same problem in next matches) or use CO.

Also group/ungroup option would be great too and the possibility to move players in more then 1 position, for example defense in all positions up one square :)

Combining 2 tactics would be nice too...

There should be an option to put same order in, for example, 46 and 60 min and if it is executed in minute 46 then it won't be executed in min 60 also. It makes a problem if you want to change one player place in your tactic it is executed two times and then your player changes place two times and goes back on the place where he started from.
