Subject: [Idea] Interactive tutorial for beginners
The problem with most of the new users is that they usually quit the game before they can find out what the game actually offers. In the beginning, they are restricted in writing on a forum, writing messages, buying players, they have to wait 5 minutes to watch a game. They have no one here who would introduce them to the game and they need to figure out how everything works on their own. Studying all the rules about how the game works are boring.
The introduction to the game should be more interactive. People should be motivated to explore the game immediately after registration. I propose something like this:
You register a new team and immediately you can log-in to your team with no restrictions. (or maybe some restrictions might be limited until fulfilling the tasks below).
You will be offered to complete assisted tutorial on all the important parts of the game, anytime you choose to. For completing each part, you will receive a small financial bonus. You will see the progress (% of fulfilled tasks) and for completing all the tasks, you will receive some solid financial bonus.
Through this tutorial, you will learn all the important aspects of the game. I will shoot some ideas for tasks without much consideration, so you might get the idea:
1, click on players page (arrow pointing to players page) -> click on some player -> now all the attributes will be marked and briefly explained and you will click on continue when you read it -> task completed.
2, With explanation help, you will be guided through the process of setting up a lineup and tactics-> when you finish with the settings, you can generate an immediate simulated match where you can see how the match engine looks and you can explore how your settings influenced the game -> after the match, the task is completed
Another examples of what the tasks include are: writing the first post on the forum, recruiting a coach, buying a player, setting up a training, ..

+1 : great idea for helping new users and financial bonus should sufficiently high to help him.
Good idea, and In addition, every new user, for example, for 3 months should have the "tutor help" tab and there he could write on Staff Tutor and have answers.
+1, I especially agree with the quick simulation match idea, as I think that 2D match engine is something that could capture newcomers' attention, as this pretty much sets Sokker apart from other games of this kind :)
I think your idea is pretty complete and well put together :) moreover, I think this is basically the only idea that our beloved but archaic Sokker could use as an inspiration from modern games, due to its really slow-paced gameplay there is not much else to offer in my opinion as a starter pack. After that, it either clicks and you're in for years, or you lose your interest.
They should also make it compulsory for new users to introduce themselves in the forum so that other active national managers can interact with them and they can immediately be a part of Sokker community.
Don't make anything compulsory. Just make it one of the tasks, as I already proposed
writing the first post on the forum

Maybe an option, what could be a motivation for the starter users:
- Interactive tutorial
- There are some points in the tutorial, after new user finish one point get a little money for this. After he see the second point or finish it, he get another money. After this tutorial a new user can get 1 million or 1.5 million euro. It would be easier to start the game.
- I feel a big problem for the new users, they have really few money, and got a really bad squad. They don't want wait so much they want some motivation.
- Another problem they haven't much money at the start to build a stadium.
- Junior scool at this time is big problem, because need for him minimum magical coach, but too much money for a starter. Worse then a magical youth coach the school is useless.
So maybe this could be a good start for the new faces in the game.

Everyone of us started the game with little resources and managed to build up the stadium and all of that. You cannot expect to win a tittle in a couple of years in a game like this unless you are in a small country
About the junior school, if you have a bad junior coach, you should focus on juniors with little weeks in the school to minimize the effect of the coach. You will have less juniors, but also less expenses. It's perfectly balanced right now

Agreed.
The money that a new user has in the beginning is far too low to start, especially now with such high, inflated prices for young players. I think that is one of the main reasons a lot of new users give up very soon. Not to mention that a lot of older users have gazillion euros in their pockets so if we get some new ideas coming in and they "reactivate" themselves, it will be even harder to buy some young player and make profit with selling him.
It's a very good idea to make a system like this that will a) give them money and b) let them learn about the game doing so.
One of the better ideas I have read. Thumbs up!

I like the idea! Other thing I was thinking is that social media is huge nowadays and people are lazy to read, they want everything as a meme or as a video. So perhaps a step-by-step tutorial, a series of videos in YouTube could be useful. Not too long videos, one for showing how to create tactics, one to set up the squad for a game, one to explain the training system, one to show the sexiest goals in the history of Karsten Dream Team etc. And maybe a small bonus after watching each video. Would be a good way to promote the game too by watching and thumbing up the videos.
Also a nice idea. It is true - people today are lazy and it would be better to do a series of short clips to see for yourself what this is all about...
