Subject: [change] Trading reform

I think that the guy has the time to do it and also he doesn't overpay players... I've had some bidwars with him but he wouldn't make users overpay for any player

Having the time to do so is by no mean cheating, but probably he takes advantage of the arcade bug... Fix that and everything should be fine

But even that is random.
Sometimes you can sell the player you just bought immediately, sometimes the player "wants a chance to prove himself."

Well, reducing and limit player transfer (that's all your points) will limit but not really change the market logical :

- Actually we got many clubs with Millions in their hands, since years of playing sokker, trading or keeping their money in low divs for example (farmer/training teams)
- we got less and less top/descent players in market (because we've got less users, youth schools, trainers years by years)

I think of more radical solutions :

- Limit the max price (to X millions). This will stop producing "20 millions" ultimate players to trade. Bye bye training/farmer teams in low divs! Off course this mean less top stars, but who really care? Top teams dont need more ultimate players if other competitive teams dont have too. And if we really need top star player : train those players in your team without expected money benefit. That's all.

- Bring more descent player skills from start. Not a big news, training is slow, beginning at low skills (young player) need years of trainings. If we can produce more young descent player on market this will reduce the market pressure : more offers, less demand.

I know that many sokker users play this game as a "business only game" and they like it like that . Farming, high TL trading... It's ok, but we should limit this because : many other sokker users like only the other part : soccer tactic, improve teams and not spending their time and fun in market and training system !

So I say that the bought players should play at least 2 games in the new team. Always

Anoher option to fight wild traders, could be put limit very very high as 60/80 transfers (bought / sold) for season (youth sales don't count).

and what about rebating a team for keeping a player instead of inducing a penalty on the traders?

if a player plays 10 mandatory matches for your team you receive a X% of the purchasing price kickback payment from the sokker bank. would be hard to misuse I guess.

it's another good idea. In this thread there are a lot of good ideas. Only thing is wait and see if Devs will decide to improve some of them

This topic has lost its course a long time ago.

Verbal_Kint made a good point in Beginners problem topic. Transfer market is one of the very few reasons why people would be online at times when nothing else is happening. And lets be honest, that is most of the time in sokker.

Now Sokker is a game that offers you 0-2 events per day (unless you're on the transfer market). I do believe that a higher amount of events would be more attractive to beginners yet I'm also aware that this slow pace is what keeps a lot of the older players around.

I don't understand your speech.

sure that trading is important, nobody wants to eliminate it, just adjust it so that it is not clearly unbalanced as it is now

99% of players will continue to use trading as of now. I opened this thread to find ways to block the activity of 1% of managers who take advantage of this imbalance.

I think wild players trading is one of the main problems with this game.

Player bought and sold the same week or a few weeks should be much more difficult. Player should want to fight for his spot in new team, and therefore don't want to be sold within a few weeks.

+1, although I would up the limit to 30 players in the senior squad

About 1)
Well for some reasons we need to sell quickly, not only because of "High frequency trading" strategy. That's a problem with tax it's not only a "punishment" to prevent HFT. Plus, tax (actually) always push us to drop price higher, and more tax (1) will push us to put less and less players on the market, as a result : market price will be higher ! And we dont need this (actually) on the market in my opinion :-)

But if we need a radical move to stop HFT (im against too, that "kill the game") i think solution (3) "Minimum period of stay of a player" is a better simple, understandable solution (because hey... calculate taxes...)
