Subject: [idea] Helping small countries to grow

I understand Your concerns, but I think that in weak countries there are also at least brilliant junior coaches and juniors talent etc. are all random so there would be no big difference in junior quality output between YS like mine and YS from weak country so ultimately it all boils down to who have how much juniors and 1/3 will be from weak country in this case (and even including coach quality brilliant in weak country and unearthly in all others it would be like 1/4 so 25% would originate from the weak country which is still good ratio).

It would be better to nationalize outstanding players to small countries. (Page 6)

Nationalizing players is the worst Idea and will kill small countries even more. The some good NT players will be 'stolen'. And NT's from small countries will probably all end up with 70% polish, and some Turkish, Italian and Brazilian dudes.

EDIT:. oh and not to forget also Romanian players.

Just a simple probability ratio on the Saturday youth crop - 90% that you get a your domestic player, 10% that it is a random (or not that random) nationality player. No extra costs of keeping a foreign player, they can be either crap or insanely talented, everything is pure luck, just as it is now.

i think that is a good idea in a First moment. This idea is easy to promote in the game. The sokker is simple and this change will keep the spirit of the game and will help the other countries. I think that could be:
- five percent of young players will come from 50 countries with fewer users. Each season, the Sokker engine could provide a list of countries that are being helped with this tool..

Is also an option indeed.

This is from another game I play, who realises there is a big issue when countries do not have the chance to grow and compete. This is a proactive approach, and since the new DEVs took over the game, their numbers have skyrocketed because they see how strong the game is when they look after everyone, and not just the large nations (the large nations being Australia, England and India).
So despite the fact it is an Australian game, and they are currently one of the 3 countries that benefits the most from the current system, they are making these changes to make it more fair for everyone, which brings Australia back to the pack, and not right out in front.

This should be exactly the same here. The changes made in this, will not change the order of countries dramatically, but will make it all closer.

I'm not saying juniors should be completely random, but by having the outlook that the game is only as strong as your smallest/weakest nation, it why they have been so successful. And it was very smart to have a certain % of pulls (in this case 100%, but it could easily be 25% or 10%) coming from another nation, unless you have Plus, is ingenious

Sounds like it's a cricket game if the 3 big nations are Aus, Eng and India.

Sure is.

And they have realised having such a big difference between countries is not good for the game, and not good for the users, so have implemented this to help reduce the difference (not change the order, reduce the difference).

They are very proactive, and do what is best for the game and users, even if it means the countries they are from (mainly Australia and England), end up losing a lot of their advantage.

The DEVs there are selfless in terms of the game, but are reaping the rewards financially because of it
