Subject: [idea] Limitation of club finances

I am probably addressing a very sensitive topic, but I am also affected myself ;). Probably the most of people won't be agreed.
It's about the fact that assets are somehow limited. With which methods this is achieved is really open. It's simply that very rich teams (with over 125 000 000 $ [this number can be adjusted] can't spend all their assets at once or the hoarding of money has to be stopped somehow.
Method 1
No more than 31 250 000 $ can be issued per week. So after between the financial updates so much money should not be spent.
Method 2
Assets over 125 000 000 $ [number can be adjusted] pay an additional wealth tax of 1% of the assets per week.
Since I don't know how much the richest teams have and how much in the average, it's difficult to say to see which what method you can try to limit your finances if you are a extrem rich team.
Why this?
I've already over 93 750 000 $ and imagine if I want to restart the game and buy a new strong team to win the league, it's not fair for the managers who plays with a longterm strategy. With this limitation the gap between new-beginners and old-user will be smaller and there would be more fun (competition).

The "problem" there is that new managers have the same % of pulling super talented youngsters then old(er) teams cause of the complete random factor in youth. With this system everyone has the same chance as anybody else... I don't think it's fair for a team to "sacrifice" their sportive management pure on training and building a financial buffer. If that is what they've did for years and years to be able to do this... It should be their decision. Everyone has their own motivations on why they play... training...youngsters, championships and cups, ...
With increase of managers, the competition will increase aswell.

Maybe there are some actions that can help limit the money you win in a "soft" way if you have, say, more than 50 000 000 $ in the bank:
- Your supporters will be more demanding about your success. As a consequence, unless you win everything by a huge amount of goals, their mood will fall and they will leave the team
- Your players will make it harder to be sold, since they think they have a good financial future in your club, limitating this way your capacity to daytrade
- Your players may lose a random week of training due to a cracy party organized by the club :P

One question: when i read your post it appears the currency of my country. Is this hapening for every country (users read in their own currency)? How did you do that?
It also happens to me, I see:
Maybe there are some actions that can help limit the money you win in a "soft" way if you have, say, more than 100 000 000 KM in the bank

Yes, this happens for every currency and country. You use this tool [money=Number of your country, for Switzerland is 24]100000[*/money]. (now you can put the star away).
I think this is a bad idea, it's unnecessary and it would ruin some user's goal and motivation in this game. There are several users, who trained and used transfers a lot to get this assets, and they want to use this later when then try to buy and build the best players, the best squad, and then, of course, winning their first class leauge and be effective in the Champions Cup, too. So for them it would be very painful.
Isn't it also a long term strategy to gain that much money? So it's not unfair to buy a team to become champion. So I don't agree even I've not that much money (but a rather young team).

I know it's very hard to convince this idea, but it's really necessary:
A hoarding tax should be implemented in order to discourage "passive team managers". All teams in possession of over twenty-five million dollars will receive a weekly 1-2% (number can be discussed) tax above 125 000 000 $.
When passive managers start spending their money on a large scale again, it is very demotivating for everyone else and it throws the economy off balance.
There is no point in hoarding so much money in this game, because a number of managers have so much money and they take it out of the system. So the prices of the players are getting higher and higher and for middle class players (not the superstars) they are getting cheaper and cheaper. So you have to do something about the growing imbalance.
I am also talking about a very high number already (125 000 000 $)! But the DEV's would have to take a look at that, because I don't have access to who has what and how much money in their account. But it would be destructive for the economy if managers had over a 625 000 000 $ each.

You didn't read it right. We're talking about contributions over 125 000 000 $. Anyone hoarding more than that is hurting the economy.
I don't think so. They've earned this money and they have the right making a big asset. And even with this, Sokker's economy and the market works fine. Nowadays, as we have much less user than before, the prices of the good players are much higher, and also the middle class players are pretty expensive. When the market grows, the prices will be lower because of the bigger supply.
If you want a team which has chance to win Champions Cup, the price of the top-top players together will be much higher than 125 000 000 $. And even with this, the tactics and injuries, random etc. are the same after that, too - so it's hard to win at the top level, independently of the amount of money you have. And that's another thing why Sokker works so good after so many years.

sorry slamtam but I strongly have to disagree with you.
1) you don't have much money at once, so it is a consequence of good governance or clever day trading (well, we can discuss about the latter, I also don't like to be permanently harassed by could-you-not-bid-this-player??).
2) you need the money for adding top players to the team, I am training MIDs but where to take the rest of the team from? From the market.
3) this is a very bad social pollicy component I really don't want to see in this game, money held back by managers isn't money taken from the market as IRL, what's next - donations for newbies? Ugh!

I understand your concern; I have been struggling with this kind of problem since I registered a new team and had to face all those financial giants, who were playing for 10+ years and had so much money and advantage over the younger teams.
But in general, I am not in favor of restrictions. What about giving those users some expensive toys to play with? Like unearthly coaches ..
