Subject: [change] Visibility of the skills of the U21 and NT players
What if a "National Pool" with 40-50 slots would be implemented and the NT coach would only see the skills of the players that he adds there? Of course, this wouldn't stop NT coaches to add players there to see the skills, but this would be visible for everyone (the players list, not their skills). In this way, the community could react if the NT coach uses this feature to "cheat".
This wouldn't prevent all the situations from happening, of course, but it would, though, prevent situations like this: you are in the same league with the NT manager, fighting for promotion. You have three players from that NT, certainly not NT material, but the manager can see their skills. In this case, you would be notified that the player was added in the NT pool so you could let everyone know what happened. Furthermore, the pool would be useful for the manager to see how the skills of the best 50 players evolve, without having to check all of the players manually every week.

Well typically for french NT :
60-70%+ replies to NT scout request for skills, 30-40% don't reply (inactive, or we dont know the reasons...), 1-2% replies that they will NOT send skills.
So :
1) A majority of coachs are agree to share skills !
2) 1-2% explicitly don't want update skills, that very low ! but its happen.
3) 40% without answers is a little boring :-/ and we dont know why we dont have skills. (note the bias : we ask for skills ONLY for player that need updates for a long time, so 30%-40% is not surprise, these coaches are usually not very aware and active in sokker)
So my point is : Expose skills in NT team players view to NT coachs! But maybe add an option/feature for these 2% to explicitly (!) never expose skills to NT coachs !

-1 for all the reasons already given by Slavista.
I would rather increase the reward to have a NT player by giving more training or exp for example.
Another solution would be to cancel the injuries after a NT game as it is done for the junior so the owners would not be afraid to have their NT players injuried for like 30 days...

I reiterate that the skills must be visible, only to the CT, because the interests of the national teams are prioritized over the club (this is also true in reality), it is only necessary to introduce bouns in case of injuries.
I think that the most frequent reason why people don´t respond or respond negatively is that they don't want their player to play for NT because they are afraid of injuries. I think that there is something that must be done about the risk of injury in NT games which sometimes outweighs the positive factor of bonus training from NT games.
This is true but it also happens in reality; in my opinion, the frequency of injuries should be reduced
I dont get the "get closer to the reality" argument... this is a game and we need to keep it balanced. Or we could also force the users to retire when they get 80yo :)
Btw in reality the NT coach and his team is rarely in charge of a club at the same time like in sokker. If the players skills are spread by the nt coach among the nt team this gives an unfair advantage to a lot of users when they have a team in the same nation.

And that is why there are "elections" so everyone has a chance to express their opinion about a certain coach to be NT coach...
But I don't get the "scared of injuries" for NT-players... It's part of the game, aswell as so many other random things like injuries in friendlies for trainees... Should we ban friendlies also then?
But I do agree that playing for NT should have better benefits than it has now...

I believe that those who want to see skills have good reasons. At the same time, I believe that those who don't want others to see them always have good reasons.
Could it be a good solution to eliminate the small benefits that you should have (extra training ex.) and to cancel injuries (but not red/yellow card)?

I have a different point of view you look at an advantage that a manager who does the CT can have I instead look at improving things to ensure that the work of the CT can be done in the best possible way!
I assure you that it is frustrating to put effort and time and then to see your work be diminished by managers who, for their interests, damage national interests!

I always had in mind an idea, not mine but equal to football manager. A NT could have two or three scout that can follow and discover gradually the NT skills of a player, with the same mechanism as the young team coach discover the skill level of the young team player.
This has advantages that could agree toghether
1 - basically all the skills reamins hidden
2 - A NT coach has to decide to invest TIME in order that he will use it for NT scouting and not for personal purposes
The match engine can't show some stuff that you can see in the reality. For instance, during a tackling, in sokker you will only see that the defender lose or win the tackle, in real situation you can see the quality of the tackling and the dribbling ability of the attacker.
Maybe a good way to tune it is that you can discover one or two players per season

A season in NT must be dynamic because you have to acquire skills to make the team better.
Many coaches remain on the bench for a maximum of two seasons, so the mechanism of meeting one or two players per season can work well in a club but never in a national team!
I believe that it is necessary to simplify an already complex game and make the skills visible, perhaps as Ste9489 said, eliminating the injuries in the national team of the players, because this is the main problem that the managers of the players have!

In my experience, I never had the necessity to know the skills more than 3 or 4 players that has got a manager that doesn't want to show his skills. Anyway, this kind of problems could be fixed in many ways, for instance, instead of scouting way, you can discover gradually the skills as the players plays in NT, it's an another idea.
The main idea is create a system where a NT coach can discover the skills of potential real players, mistakes or other uses should give some kind of malus.
Or another approach is to create a system where playing in NT gives an advantage to owners. Giving a more experience weight in the sokker match engine in a way or another could be an idea. Of course any system should pay if the NT coach do the NT interests and not pay if he follow other purposes, for instance, personal or friends club team purposes.
