I prefer the database to this solution.

There are managers who want to show the skills of the players, there are managers who don't.

An interesting solution: each manager configures in his office whether or not he allows to show skills to the NT coach.

It does not eliminate the job of scouting, but it does help improve it

This option does not solve any problem!

The interest of the national team is superior to the club !!

The thing that must be resolved to ensure the interests of owners is the issue of injuries! :)
2020-05-03 19:25:21
why not? in this topic, at issue is the visibility of skills, not injuries.
2020-05-03 20:00:21
Because things are connected in the sense that managers deny skills because they are afraid of injuries in the national team!

Once the injuries problem has been solved, nobody will object to it!
2020-05-03 20:53:50
If the number of games increases each week, injuries must change, but NT injuries should continue to exist, it is reality.
2020-05-03 21:11:53
Reduce the chance injuries will occur with 50%
If weeks are reduces 25%, injuries duration must reduce 25% as well...

And as for NT-cap advantage: +25% training even if training would allready be 100% that week!
It's normal that players get better with NT-caps...
2020-05-03 21:15:41
+1000
2020-05-03 21:29:59
And as for NT-cap advantage: +25% training even if training would allready be 100% that week!

Absolutely not.
I am trying not to get into arguments but I can't stay silent after reading this.
You have to see the issues that would emerge. Standard message that NT coaches would get is, "F**k you, why didn't my player play!?"

So to recap:

a large majority is in favor. One of the main reasons is that it is much easier for the U21 and NT to plan this. Querying many skills leads to a loss of time. In other comparable online games like Sokker (like Hattrick, Profurgol, Buzzerbeater) the skills are visible and that didn't harm the game at all.

A small minority is against it and as I noticed, there are two main reasons:

1) If the skills were visible then there would be no communication. This is a false assumption. Communication is still important and that will not change.

2) Some managers don't want to see their players in the NT (in the U21 this problem is much smaller) because their players can get injured. Here, solutions have already been worked out (no injury for the NT players during an NT mission or the wages of the injured players are taken over).

To make it clear once again:

The visibility of the skills does not harm the game, but it improves the game. There are well-organized teams like Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary or Croatia, but this is because they also have many scouts or people who help. But in other nations the interest is so small that only the U21 or NT coach has to work alone. Despite the database it is a huge work to query everything. The quality of the weaker nations could improve and the big nations will not have to suffer any disadvantage.

Edit:

26 voted here:

There are 20 yes voters and 6 no-voters, also over 75% of the users here in this topic are for the visibility of the skills.

I totally disagree with this idea, it's very invasive, unfair and disrespectful with the owners of the clubs

nice idea...it would help a lot NT and U21 coaches...there can be also visible current training for that player....maybe that managers can put a note for NT and U21 coaches what are training plans too...

most of the experienced managers can guess what are players skills with wage...and that does not help a lot if you know exact or maybe you guessed +/- 1 skills...i don't think that would be a problem...

Why? Explain it with more details, pls.
2020-05-03 23:46:56
Now they say that when he does play...

It's only fair...
Every new season the people voted the coach to be in charge of the NT-squad, in good faith he'll do anything to get the best team on the pitch. If he betrays that thrust, he comes on a blacklist and probably won't be re-elected...
I feel that, as a NT-coach, you coach for honor and glory, not for own succes or for friends benefits...
If this would be an unfair thing in sokker, then it's not worth to have a NT at all.
And as for the players, they have the disadvantage to the possibility to get injured, so it's only fair to compensate!

For the visibility of the skills, I say yes for all -27 year old players.
And make a database in which all +27 year old former or current NT-players of that country have their 26y old skill list available so NT-coaches can see how he "looked" like, but now they can only see their form and value IF their coaches doesn't want the NT-coaches to see them.

exatly slamtam!!

For me the interests of the national team are higher than those of the club, it is like this for every sporting competition !!

I repeat that the only problem to be solved is the injury, everything else is secondary because the interest and obstructionism of a manager cannot harm an entire community!
