few hundred (if not more) players, most of them quite interesting - at one moment of time will be a transfer bomb, probably it will be better to streach them in time.
even one team selling all his players deforms the market and they usually go much underpriced. So spreading deadlines is definitely a good idea.
Yes, they could be stacked in a special team and be transferlisted from time to time along the season, giving priority to most valuable players, for example

I wonder "how" you want to spread them? You want teams to be deleted at the end of the season AND you want teams to stay as they are for the remaining of the season cause of a possible competition flaw...
For the spreading to work, ALL players have to be moved to a virtual buffer team, and then from there they must gradually be put on transferlist.
My guess, you can work with a skill number counter and start with the highest skillnumber and count back each 2 days...Just brainstorming here...

putting all the players at once will reduce inflation, not a bad idea
This will bring the risk that "some" players won't be bought cause of the overflow of players. It's not the right way to bring up a "resque plan".
Spreading is a must imo...

You think they will when 1000 players are for sale at the same moment...
for sure !! :-) if the server dont crash...
But yes, ok. Maybe each days/weeks realease an amount of bots...

Or maybe released players bot in one shot (starting season), adding a random days/hours deadlines for each ones, far more or less than the actual 3 days/current hour (eg. a player get 7 days x hours for deadline, another 14 days... another 1 day...).
During the first weeks clubs need good players, but we got not enough players... that mean price inflation during this weeks... Realease players beetween 0 to 3 weeks coud also being a good fix for a new fresh season without this prices pressure.

that would be a good idea...but problem is if some young player is in some club that goes "bot" at the start of the season he will lose another season of training....so there should be implemented some kind of system that releases players when they go bot in the season...
for example: when team goes bot, release all players on tl on random dates and hours for a week so that all players from 15 clubs are not in early morning in sokker time, replace players in team with some BOT players and tactics so team don't lose games with WO and at end of the season completely delete/replace that bot...

Well... future bot players just need to be released at time (when the user becomes inactive, TL all the players and replace with new ones) no need randoms deadlines, not a problem.
Bot for now, the "massive bots release" need a progressive release, i think the random deadlines could do the job... But im not aware about the bot and TL management scripts of course ... so i don't know if that the simplest solution.

We will figure it out for sure.:)
I rather think, it should be some dedicated time, to streach start of biddings- like first week of season for example.
We cant move all of them in the middle of season (except of mechanism about NT players) - from game perspective it's more interesting, to keep bots till the end of season with full squad, to still give other users chance for full game emotions, not just walkovers.
But in that form - as you see it's just a bit more complicated.

The first week of the season sounds reasonable. People receive their post-seasonal bonuses so they could spend the money on players from bot teams. Plus It is before the start of the season so it is natural that teams seek for acquisitions for the new season

if team has half of 1st squad of NT players then your argument is obsolete because he will lose his games with WO anyhow....
or that teams last saved game tactic is some from friendly game and team looses all games with or without your help....
i know it is more work for you...but there there is no point in making that end season reset if players will lose a season of training (or probably more if they are not in the match squad)....not every player got u21 caps or he is just to young to play and he must wait for a season reset...that waiting will destroy every young player in that team....
i guess that every NT or U21 coach will agree with me...
