Subject: »[accept] Protect NT players

We cant move all of them in the middle of season (except of mechanism about NT players) - from game perspective it's more interesting, to keep bots till the end of season with full squad, to still give other users chance for full game emotions, not just walkovers.

if team has half of 1st squad of NT players then your argument is obsolete because he will lose his games with WO anyhow....
or that teams last saved game tactic is some from friendly game and team looses all games with or without your help....

i know it is more work for you...but there there is no point in making that end season reset if players will lose a season of training (or probably more if they are not in the match squad)....not every player got u21 caps or he is just to young to play and he must wait for a season reset...that waiting will destroy every young player in that team....

i guess that every NT or U21 coach will agree with me...

NT players is a small % of all players in bot teams. we dont want to clean bot teams just after being a bot from few reasons, lot of users decide to come back after few weeks, that would be a punishment, when you loosing team when you didn't flag vacation, and get it back without any player.
For them we have dedicated mechanism to put them on TL fast enough. Rest of team should stay and play till the end of season.

And it's good when bots keep playing, and you can still play your game - even against bot it's much more fun instead of WO.

perhaps the rule of 50days of inactivity could change? 50 days without log in in the case of a new user is not the same as the case of an user who is playing for 10years

i did not know that is possible...

Yep, maybe.

In option with cleaning bots faster than at the end of season there is a risk of that.

So to sumarize, i think it should work like that:
1. NT players put on TL quite fast after team becomes bot.
2. Auto squad selection to keep bot team playing till the end of season (to give fun from games for rest of users in league)
3. Teem deleted after season, withdrawn from league (and only human players will start in that league next season)
4. Players and coaches streached on TL during first week of season (after sponsors bonuses and fan club)
2020-05-19 19:37:39
few hundred (if not more) players, most of them quite interesting - at one moment of time will be a transfer bomb, probably it will be better to streach them in time.

On the other hand, this could also lower the selling prices during the season. Knowing that at the end (and maybe half way) a lot of players are sold for less could make managers decide to lower the asking price so the player will be sold. And it could also lower the bids which will make it possible for less rich managers to buy better players again.

Downside, less money will leave the game when players get cheaper.

Both are not the best sollutions. Not sure what is; AND lower prices, AND more money out of the game.

so if i go bot at the end of the season then i had tough luck...and my league colleague at start of the season had better one...maybe you can make some safe net for "old" clubs but there is still the problem that is not fair to all...

fair thing would be some kind of buffer (maybe 4 weeks) and then are bot team deleted...not connected to end of season...

and as Charles Hill said it will probably make TL prices to drop at the start of the season...
2020-05-19 22:23:42
Make a rule and a system, where NT players will put themselves on TL when the team becomes bot OR he isn't playing matches for x weeks/matches without injury...
This way, managers "should know" that if they don't come online for x-amount of matches/weeks, there's a possibility that their NT-player(s) will leave the club and become "free agents". So also, this way the money paid for the player won't go to the club.

Leaving an active team for not being online enough is tricky, not something I agree with.

What I would suggest:
NT players should go to TL the moment a team become bot team. All other player go to TL when that team gets deleted at the end of season (or half wat the season after 7 league matches)

Sure, it can be done. For sure it just need some time to set some fair rules.
About prices decreasing - yep, it will, and that's our point:) good for the game, inflation is to high now. Club economy is almost not important at all if you good Day Trader.

Well i don't understand all this "protection" ^^

I understand that sokker and devs want to see their users back again, but fact is when sokker loosing users, they usually never come back...Or few users take another team, a new challenge, that's ok. Plus, there are already lot of protections (Inactive users for 50 days, can receive notification mail, can use vacancies option)

Maybe we could improve again protection process (for example, vacancy UI is not cleary identified and without information.. and a lille rude ^^ click = no feedback + disconnected directly... Or improve email notification message/language ... ).

But "protection process" apart, inactive teams are a lot of pain for ACTIVE users, still playing the game...
So, imo releasing ALL players in TL (NT or not) directly when a team becomes bot is a simple process that solve many problems (loosing NT players, boring bots in leagues, good players will never get back to market creating distortion and inflation : less users but less and less good players on TL ...)

Of course, actually i understand the massive released for all teams already bots... But tHat's another thing.

Raul to juytt
Agree.

So in our opinion it's nothing bad with witdrawn bot teams at the end of seson.
Sure, we can make some rules to prevent deleting "young" bots, but that's all we should do imho.
Same with plus users - if you have plus, your team should be protected as long as it is active.

There is also an option, to save witdrwan teams as back up for future - if user will decide to get back, his team will be still in database connected with his email, with all history etc. (not sure about founds, stadium, or stuff like that) but probably history is most interesting to be kept.

juytt to Raul
history, but money is probably the most interesting thing for the returns. When a team become inactive, all players goes to TL, and save all this money back to inactive account.

yup...that seems fair...

and you start from the bottom league...

inflation is ok but there should not be peak points in season that has main cause by bot reset...

that is a nice idea

Yep, thats why first week is just perfect, now we have prices peak point after sponsorship bonuses, so that will be a perfect time to balance it.

@juytt - finances - maybe so, need to be considered (i'm just a bit afraid about possible team trading).
