My pet peeves in Junior Teams are as follows:

- Junior school places shall be free from day one. Many new players can't afford to lose 15k every week, as money is really tight in lower divisions.

The current system can be really unfair as many weeks some players have matches and others don't.

- Maybe a little more clearer view of the real skills of a junior. Maybe not like senior players, but a simpler system like this:

Goalkeepeing: Average of Pace + Keeper
Tackling: Average of Pace + Defender
Midfield: Average of Playmaker + Passing
Attack: Average of Pace + Technique + Striker
Physical: Average of Pace + Stamina + Form

Maybe some would complain about the loss of uncertainity, but remember that with the current system, junior player levels are really volatile, the get up and down quite fast.

- Junior matches should be more entertaining to watch.

I look this match with x2 pace :-)
So it look like a first div match ... Just for pace of course :-)

+ 1 on the free places.

-1 on the rest

Making junior teams mandatory seems unnecessary, as it is pretty boring to watch (it's like a team with a rating of 15, you can't make it interesting to watch).

With the skills I'm not sure. I like the excitement of the surprise, but maybe some other users don't.

-1 on everything

It takes away the random AND the challenge to start from scratch.
Financial problems are for beginners mostly caused by "mistakes" or greediness.
This is a slow paced game so rushing things wouldn't help

Many teams are much lower than others because the quarries of each country, different levels of youth producers and that should not be the case, rather it should have an equality for the low-level teams have the possibility of reaching the World Cup sometime

That's just it... It Should be different!
IRL the difference is even far far greater!

Also, if having a junior team is mandatory and not optional, the league system would be miles better. The current system can be really unfair as many weeks some players have matches and others don't.

Oh, hell no!

if youth is coming to school, we see gk or nothing. I do not watch youth league, only check result and how mark had youth in match. I try use youth with order def, att, mid and in position where have player the best mark, i will set to future matches. But problem is that players have every week different skill.... i had youth with mark 30 like def, but come like striker with def....

youth coach could be show possible position for youth...

Nice idea, but it's not a high priority right now.

+1 for making the matches more attractive. Maybe playing in a smaller pitch?

Also, league schedule is sometimes absurd. Two teams should not play together two times in a row while there are other options of matching the teams!

Your logic is flawed when there are multiple aspects of this game that differ from real life :P

@sly1183 Are you responding to me? Yes it's true, but that does not mean that it can't be made better.

@all From the feedback of this post I understand that Junior League should not be mandatory. At the end of the day you are free to choose how to play sokker and that's a great thing.

But I'm sure that everyone agrees that junior leagues and matches are a mess. And junior system is very random.

@Terrion You could have football 7 matches with a smaller pitch, just like in real life.
It would be difficult to implement, but it would mean more teams in junior leagues (It's easier to have 7 juniors that are really trainable than 11).

shall be free from day one

-1 Nope. We get 6 max new juniors a week. We just have to sack or not, and in practices we had less than one descent potential juniors/w... Totally manageable for new players (Junior coach wages is far more a problem for new teams in that case)

Maybe a little more clearer view of the real skills of a junior.

-1. it's more about position, but not clear about how skilled is a junior. For poor to mediocre skilled juniors (a majority) this also make non sense : all positions are almost egal = weak. (except Gk maybe...)

- Junior matches should be more entertaining to watch.

+1 The problem is un-skilled juniors. A weak junior on a good position is still a weak player, its sill boring to watch and manage (tactically)

Maybe a little more clearer view of the real skills of a junior.

link position of player ( GK, DEF, MID, STR) to his own skills:
a player is in a school, a school is done to learn, so why a junior does not learn skills of the position he plays during a match? he does. His rating is depending of his skills and his position during the match. The trainer must search the good place. This is the reason of junior match.

a GK must be a real ( young) GK in the school, not a winger, each team should be have at minimum 1 GK for 10 juniors to allow more equitable match.
