If the counter is 10 seconds then people might actually wait those 10 seconds and see the ads.
If they change this I might turn off the adblocker for sokker.

But the real reason I want this change is to see the change in the attitude.
If they are still keeping this, then they are just bullshiting us with this new approach.

I think that it's a good idea, but I think that's it's a good thing to induce the managers to buy plus. Maybe the 5 minutes can be reduced or make the more enjoyable, for instance, if they have to create a new UX, it should appear a match commentator that shows stats and crowd expectations. Or maybe, by taking the idea from Football Manager, you can see advertising boards on the side of the fields, so a manager could see the advertising along the whole match without that the thing become annoying :)

Well 300 sec was a strange idea, i really never know why this punishment :-) We get Adblockers , we can just open it in a new window waiting in the background ..

But hey, be serious 10 sec is already bulshit. That's 2020 we are all adblock ready, aware about anti advertising strategies; and freemium games based on ads globally failed ^^ just SELL PREMIUM is the only option.

I m agree with you, a move in this direction could be a proof of non-bullshits futur changes.
But honestly, if a was in charge of stategy : PREMIUM should watch the games before freemium, even days before !

Just click some old match at least 5min before the live game to release time, but don't open that old match, and then when live game starts just open and watch without waiting...

This is probably one of the worst features for a beginner. You do your first login, finally manage to start a game a few days later and then it makes you wait another 5 minutes. Sokker is overestimating its appeal there, nobody wants to wait that long to see if this game is worth playing.

Just a thought, maybe this could be set to 0 seconds for the first 6 months? That wouldn't help older players but it would make a huge difference for those newbies you want to keep logging in. And my guess is that if you implement it that way a lot more users will get plus after 6 months than if they had to buy it right at the beginning.

We will use video ads in the future after general update, but for now it's a barrier for new users and old ones.
From today waiting time is withdrawn, you can watch games without it at all.

The first "update" is the deletion of the previous one :-p

It's not our idea to be annoying for users, we will try to motivate you for plus in other ways.
As i've mentioned video ads will be displayed in the future (after full update), but rather in Youtube style and for sure not so long as it was.
