Subject: [Change] Change value and wage

Charles Hill to All
Change value:
Because this value number has absolutely nothing to do with an actual value but is based on skill point, why not delete the currency symbol and change the name into what it really is; skill points.

And ofcourse it should be the same in all countries. So take 1 'value' that will become standard for everyone. This makes it way more clear when talking to others around the world, all will use the same number for skill points.
Also, 'value' makes it confusing for new managers on the transfer market, as that 'value' has absolutely nothing to do with the actual transfer price.

I don't care what 'value' is used to be changed into Skill points. Yes, for some it will take some time to get used to, but it does make a lot more sense.

For example: Use the Polish value, delete the currency symbol, change text 'value' into 'Skill points' and make it the standard for Sokker. That is all that needs to be done.

Change wage and different currencies:
At the moment each country is using it's own currency, which makes it for example difficult negotiating with people from other countries how much money someone wants for a player. The money tag is a difficult solution and an extra step that isn't necessary at all, because there is a much more simple solution.
Introduce a Sokker currency that will be the same for everyone all over the world. So when negotiating, both managers from different countries are using the same selling price.

Not only for bidding it is more easy, also when posting players, everyone will see the same.

For example, use the Polish wages, change the money symbol (zł) into something new that doesn't exist as money symbol (anymore) > (₤ or L for example), give this Sokker currency a new name > (Libra for example) and make this new currency the standard for everyone in Sokker.

Then a player will look something like this for everyone around the world:

Raymundo Bidu , age 24
skill points: 747 000
wage: 7 875 ₤
outstanding form
height: 173 cm, weight: 72.7 kg,
BMI: 24.29

And when trying to buy this player on the transfer list, a manager bid 500 000 ₤ (Libra), not matter in what country this managers has his/her team, money is always in Libra.

EDIT: Libra is crypto currency apparently. So another name for world wide Sokker currency is needed in my idea.

Pecunia or Pecus could be used as Sokker curreny name, with the symbol ᵱ (latin letter p), or some other letter/symbol that looks like a P:

Fehu is also an option as currency wit symbol F or Fe (or use something that looks like an F).

What if the value of player was based on average price of similar players sold in previous season. It would be updated once per season together with the age update (as nowadays)

Was going to say the exact same thing.
With the addition of value equaling the average of players with similar skills (of the same age) sold in the past say 2 seasons, I am definitely +1 for Charles Hill comment.

It is definitely easier if we all speak the one currency (whatever that is), and if value either has a different name (so it doesn't confuse people) or is actually more representative of their market value

+1 for the player values. It's only good for subskills estimation, you can compare similar players and estimate If one is close to pop some skill.

Libra is already used as currency, it is crypto currency. So changed that part in Edit.
