Subject: »[Change]New form system

Not really...
Unless you lose every game with more then 5 goals difference. But then it's logical you lose form...
AND don't forget! Pops can make your form go up as well!

form, heading are total random....

it need some rules.... When player lost form, can help him. Here only wait and can to do nothing.

If win match, league, cup can highter form...

I think form need a new system but not based on results, based on trainings. In real Life, usually a player increase his form with training, with matchs and without injury...

So ok random but not "totally" random as now.

The only way to know if this works it to really test it in a league for half a season.

Or run a simulation.

this advantage the best teams

Other reform

Form random as now, but when you put it in B in friendly, its curve starts up again to the top.

I agree that form rules should be changed, at least it should be changed the "hidden median value" that each player has tattoed in his DNA :)

Nevertheless I won't link variations to many variables, avoiding completely any link to win/loss, and giving a minimal bonus to player with scores/assists/high %

I think the maximum impact to raise form should be give mainly by playing matches, by the way officiale matches should count more than friendly (and arcade should be not considered).

This could be also good to avoid massive trading distorsions, 'cause form is determinant to make the market price of a player.

Given that the current form system is detrimental to the game imo and we have no way of knowing if an update to this would actually help the situation.

What would people think to actually doing away with form completely?

That's indeed what I meant :)

No idea how many people are working on Sokker right now, so no idea if there is time to try things out by running simulations, but also scrapping it when it's not working as intended.

On theory is good but what it means better teams will get better form ...

+1 i like your idea to stick form with "performance" or "events", form is actually unexplained we can't deal/manage with form.

Also there are so many factors that can explain bad/good form, the actual random(?) form system is uninteresting, but a simple good base.

(i already post it somewhere else)
* form must be random
* form needs to become a bit fair

i suggest something simple
* (high priority) Start Season >> Form reset to a random value 7-11, then it restarts variations
* (less priority) a way for manager to deal with form:
if the player plays 90' in a week (and is not injured) form has input to go up
example: imagine +2/-2 form variation, playing match add +0.5 to this variation. or something similiar, DEVs choice.

I like that ;-)

Well, I don't really care which it will be in the end, but I'd like to "fix" the problem of season after season extreme low form continuancy... That's my only concern and motivation to start looking for an alternative system

I like it also if something can be done about low form. But in rl the only thing clubs can do to make players feel better again is the use of a shrink
