I like it also if something can be done about low form. But in rl the only thing clubs can do to make players feel better again is the use of a shrink

form needs to be updated.. i mean, players like messi and ronaldo and debruyne are playing like their whole career on devine form, sokker form isn't OK

A psychologist ;-)

Could be a solution...

Having 1, 2 or max 3 places for players to "boost" their form for a fixed price

Something like that :)

Could be the same as an 'assistant' Or just a psychologist, but wage could be difficult

The system for calculating the form must be changed because it influences too much the results especially those of the national teams.

As already said by someone I would not give fundamental importance to the results obtained but to the fact of playing a game (even the minutes played) and also, in a certain percentage, to training if the player has trained or not, if he is pop up in a skills ect ....

The clear thing that in any case the current system is a failure and must be changed!

The main problem is that players are often stuck at low form for a very long time. That would be very easy to fix: At low form it should be slightly more likely to go up, at high form to go down.

I have been coaching this player since a very young age, he has very good talent as you can see from his skills, when it came time to play in the World Cup under 21, he never played, and let him be one of the best. The reason was the form he didn't play, I've tried everything. The logical thing is that at some point in the season it will not be in shape. But not 3 seasons, it's a shame.

Definitely need to change the form and be closer to reality

I thought it over some more...

Points system should be less complicated and influenced by events and results...

Therefor, for the peace of the game's filosophy for random affection I've come up with this:

Game played: Random between 0 and +2
Match lost: random between 0 and -1
Match draw: 0
Match won: random between 0 and +1
For GK and Def: clean sheet: Random between 0 and +2
Assist or goal: fixed +1 (always for 1 or 10 goals, only +1), so 4 goals 2 assist = +1, 1 assist = also +1
Injury: random between 0 and -2
No game played: random between 0 and -2

This way the max possible up in a week in form is +6 (match played as def= random +2, match played; random = +2, Match won = +1, goal scored = +1)
The least for the same player, same result, same goals scored etc... = +1

In the worst case a player goes down max -3 in a match (Match lost, random -1, injury, random -2)
OR
-2 if he didn't played...

I guess this balances the game alot more

Maybe for U21/NT:

- First appearance: fixed +2

-U21/NT cap: Random between -1 and +2

I personally don't think a players form should be linked to whether his team wins/loses/draws.

A player can play fantastic and be on the losing team and conversely a player can play rubbish and still be on the winning team.

For sokker, I think this needs to be a lot more transparent.
I think it should simply boil down to whether a player played or not that week or at least linked to that. Therefore, you would know that a player in bad form would likely go up (longer term) if you play them and player would drop form if you don't (which basically happens at the moment especially if they get a long term injury - for the dropping form part only).

That is why I put a random number...

A person can play awesome in one game and lots less the next game...
And vice versa...

I like random form but when you have a player during 1-2-3 season in tragic form...although it's true that in real life it also happens with some players xD, and it's good for market (you can risk and get players cheaper).

I've never seen an IRL player in a similar form as "sokker tragic" for 3 full seasons...At least not on the higher levels of football... Amateurs be amateurs, but for pro's... NEVER EVER SEEN!

-1 complicated system, just include a specialist that helps to control form
