Subject: [Idea] Progress bars instead of text with hidden values

Charles Hill to All
Instead of text, Sokker could us progress bars. This makes it lot more easy how high or low mood, skills, or whatever something is, instead of text with hidden background values.

Something like this, but with some scale added, 0 to 19 points, or even better 0 to 100 (%):

This way posting players in for example transfertopic, there is no more pace is weak, very good, divine, etc + some hidden values. Instead it simply is pace is 25, 37 or 70 (%).

But it also works for something like supporters mood 66 (%), or pitch condition 89 (%)

All text can be replaced by much easier to use values, and no more hidden value, all very clear.

Bars would help newcomers adapt more easily.

Also table view option on players page.

Bars and % instead of player skills are just a horrible idea. Why destroy the spirit of the game?

There is an option of visible number next to the skill which should be set as default for all new users. The number should be next to the level of supporters mood and supporters expectations as well. Everything is clear with numbers, no need to make different game from Sokker.

Absolutely.

sub levels are important to avoid frustration and see that all works fine in system now we just complain that mood dropped a level or 2 since its not just few fractions

Seems too sterile for me. I agree with slavista that killing the text will kill the charm. Also, why the need to know everything 100%? To an extent, some uncertainty and mystery is needed to avoid plain boredom.

design not exactly should be that one is just example idea is to have sub levels

Because that's what the players from this generation are expecting.

But I wouldn't force to replace text with numbers. The progress bar already helps you to "see" that numbers in your head, specially for newcommers :)

I would like something like this.

Yeh, something like that. But I would delete the text of skills and make it 0 to 100 %. Think that makes it easier and even more accurate.

For example, using graphics as in your picture:

Stamina ------------------------------------------------- 72%
Pase ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 92%
Technique ------------------------------------------------------------------ 93%
Passing --------------------------------------------------------------88%
etc

Look at aSokker app. Forgotten how this looked like.

If each player looks like this in Sokker, it would be great. Only still hidden values as old text skills are used without %

Background bars + text + value = Perfect solution and combination imo

You could also put the number integrated in the middle of the bar
