Subject: [Change] delete age of coaches
Not really...
My ET junior coach and one of my assitant bought mid 2018 are now 84 and 93 yo and I am not an old user.
If they retire I would loose few millions euros I invested in them knowing they would not retire. This is not very fair except if there is a financial compensation.

+1 for proper retirement. I would go with 75+ to retirement, because then i will lose 4 out 5 coaches, small steps, lets get rid of all 100 ages, then somewhere next season 90 or 95.

On the other hand, retirement is mentioned in the rules, only never implemented.
And some will benefit from retirement, as many managers have to recruit new coach so the transferlist will be filled again with coaches that are not good enough for some, but perfect for others. Specially new managers will benefit I think.
EDIT: Oh, wait, a recruited a coach can be rejected. Does he go to transferlist or just disappear?

he disappears
Age
Your coach is a human being, at some moment he may finish his coaching career. Do not be surprised when your aged coach hands you his notice and leaves for well-deserved retirement in Bermuda.
wow I did not know this was in the rules. It if was not added there recently, but it is a long time in the rules, I would say that you cannot claim anymore that it is not fair

I don't think retirement will be implemented soon, first other things will be done.
So delete age would be a simple quick temporarily 'fix' of something that looks stupid. Yesterday a new manager signed up who I'm helping. When showing him which coach would be good to buy, he immediately said something about the old age. So new managers see this right away, and it doesn't look good.
There is a chance new managers will sign up more often coming weeks as before, so I think temporarily quick 'fixes' that won't take time to do, should be done. (And meanwhile doing the big things we will notice later, one thing does not have to exclude the other thing they are working on.)
And maybe old managers should ask new managers what doesn't look good. 'We' have become blind for some things because we are used to it, they are not.

It was in the rule but never implemented so of course some managers spent millions on old coach believing what they really see happening in the game : no coach retirement. Actually the rules were not corrects.

Its more fun to celebrate some crazy birthdays rather then none. I still like it like this and we can maybe use this fact to make hall of fame for coaches. Oldest coach was with club from 2008.
But just easy implementation with coaches retirement, i dont use transfer market for coaching, but a lot users do and they spend money there.
I dont know how much is possible but except the age limit, one of the element before retirement could be minimum time spend in new club. And also it would be nice to make it if you resign the coach and if he is age 80+ then he disappear iso transfer market.

I don't agree with the other part, but I do with this part:
it would be nice to make it if you resign the coach and if he is age 80+ then he disappear iso transfer market.
And I think even younger. When a 70 (or 75) year old coach is fired, he should not go transfermarket anymore. That would be a good start to get some of the old age coaches out of the game.

Replace all existing coaches age to a random age between 40 and 45 and set the retire age at "random between 70 and 80"
With this, managers can keep their coaches in which they invested a lot of money for at least 30 seasons before they retire.
From that point, new coaches enter the game between the ages of 35 and 45.
This way managers know that their coach will be theirs for at least 30 seasons if they want him to...

This goes in my favor I can have now new fresh coaches, with same skills, which i have used for 30 seasons already. Thats why i dont agree. It is just not fair, I have used them enough and its time for me to search new coaches.
If you bought for example magical coach, and he is in your club for 10 seasons(160 weeks) I think he earned that money...
Im still for coach retirement, as it stands in the rules, but step by step, age and "since in club" depending.

Replacing age for existing coaches is a nice idea.
But I don't see 35-45 year olds as high-end coaches entering the league
Idea could be that new coaches are like 35 up to like 60 years old (so they would be useful for at least 10 seasons) and skills would vary for age:
-Better coaches would be closer to 50-60 years
-more mediocre coaches would be younger
Of course there would have to exist some kind of luck involved and you would be able to get 35 year old with godlike skills but it would be something rare.

And we're departed for another hopeless discussion.
Part of people want to keep coaches, part wants to buy new ones, part wants to have coaches stay for 30 years, part for 10 years.
This way nothing will be implemented and all will stay the same.
Coaches will be 200 years old...and rising.

Yeah, developers should pick first idea no matter how good/bad it is.
It's all about discussion, giving ideas, pointing good/bad things in ideas, giving opinions. This way something can be not only implemented, but actually benefit the game and players.
I'm not saying my idea is best one. I just present my point of view.
