I don't know about organization of national/regional cup and international cap or league, but i like your proposal: 14 weeks and no more than 3 games per week.

I like your proposal!

Very good structure. Even better than slavista's, but as you said, it is the developed version of that.
Until now, maybe this is the best solution/answer/compromise for almost all the questions/requirements we (devs+users) want to achieve. And that's very big thing, I guess. Because a lot of requirements are there...

(OK, if somebody want a 12-teams league, it doesn't work for that. But I don't want this, for me 8 teams are enough in a league.)

@Rebel.81

agree about this national/regional cup, just hard to implement.

If im out of my cup then i go play regional, if im out there then what? friendlies? Why do we need also regional cup if we have international cup, where you will select what goes to which region? What is important then to win national, regional or international...

There is actually an international league to make sure you get 2 official matches per week.

The regional cup is as per FIFA, and is in place to reduce the number of friendlies you will need after the Australia cup.

This idea actually has the most amount of unique official matches, with some ideas using an international cup instead of league, meaning you end up either with a knockout (so go home early and down to one a week), or a group followed by knockout, meaning it still won't last the whole season for most which again means less official matches (without doing something silly like putting league matches randomly on muliple days and only on some weeks).

Right now you only get one official match, and a few weeks in a cup.
With this idea you get two official matches, and two lots of a few weeks in cups.

let say regional is asia. They all play national cups. Teams drop out from national cups at some point forming the regional cup. If thats set by specific week then you will never know how many human player you have. So you will fill this with bots or? let say you solve that. Now you need next round to happen, I assume that number of teams in regional cup is half down, but how many teams is drooping from national cup, some countries will be 32 some 64 some 256, then all together...

Yeah, I have already said how this will work. Need to read the first post again.

I see now, my bad. Its good idea, just a bit worried if this can be implemented

Thanks mate.
From what I understand of coding (which granted isn't a huge amount), it actually shouldn't be too hard to code in (as you getit to look for certain country numbers, that are free, and have not already participated in x competition).

I have seen a lot more complex coding ideas thrown out there, so thought this wouldn't be too bad

Better than official proposal. I agree +1

Thanks, maybe we can add it to the poll :p seems like there is a lot of positive views towards this schedule

With the training implementation now having come out, and knowing that if you play stronger teams than yourself, you get more training, this schedule has become even more necessary to keep balance in the game.

The international league, where everyone can move up or down based on your skill compared to everyone in sokker, will be essential to let strong players from small nations, get appropriate training for their players, whilst allowing weaker players a chance to win one of their leagues.

If there is just the national league and then cups, the strong player may only get one or two matches a season that give 100% training. If they are in a league with 6 or 7 people rated much less in their national league, they will get less training (than someone of equal strength in another country), and therefore will be going backwards slowly, which isn't fair.

Without the international competition, it would also mean that the strongest teams in small countries, could never train their own countries juniors as effectively as similar skilled players in bigger countries. Therefore an international league is needed so you can train your own countries players as effectively. If this was not the case, then countries will become even more divided based on number, and the only way to have a strong player would be to send them to another country.

I really hope this schedule is one that the DEVs choose, as it fits so nicely in with what they want for the game, and keeps things fair between all nations.

Fingers crossed

It is also more important because friendlies will be worth less training than official matches.

This means if the International Cup were to go ahead, 75% of players would have to start friendlies by week 3, because they will have been knocked out of the cup.

In the international league system, you get 2 official matches all season, plus 2 chances at official cup matches.

In the group stage + knockout stage present by some, you only get the group stage with guaranteed training (so less guaranteed weeks), and only get one National cup chance, and 75% gone in first 2 rounds

With all the upvotes, thought I'd keep this at the top of people's minds (and because other posts are getting unwarranted up posts)

Great proposal! Even the beginning teams will have enough official games to maintain max training, 3 matches seems enough instead of 4. No more time losing 2 weeks like in this period.

My biggest concern was that the bigger teams would benefit the new training proposal because of their chances of having more official matches in comparison with the smaller/ newer teams. For me this gap has to be as small as possible so as the gap between teams with money, experience better players doesnt get bigger.
