I agree with the youth development thing as well. Since a while I am back into sokker after I started back 10-15 years ago, can't even remember.
Those days youthschool was clear and simple. Now as a "beginner" i noticed with an incredible coach that the skill guess of the coach is horrible even in a way it makes it hard to see
1 if there is any talent
2 make a discission to keep a player or not
3 no more real proove of talent
For me the old system was way better.
The only thing i forgot is what the level of the youth coach means than, because talent was fixed 3 - 4 - 4,5 ... So What was the influence of the coach on the youth school?
3 games a weeks seems enough for me but I like the idea of 12 teams in one league : 2 competition games a week + 1 national cup game.
The only thing about the cup is that all the best teams stay longer in the cup which is normal, whereas newbies /lower teams are eliminated immedeatly and will have to play friendly's and receive less training than the big teams who keep on competing in the cup. Therefor there needs to be a sort of compensation that those who get eliminated still have the same training %
So they don't keep the advantage of extra training against smaller teams

Regardless of the voting options that we are gonna get, season should immediately be reduced to 15 weeks. If it's possible.
We can vote for some long term strategy, but 15 weeks is a perfect short term goal.
This waiting period is boring, so that would be gone.
Training speed is gonna drop by 6%. Managers wouldn't feel that, so it's a good first step in reducing the number of divine players.

Yeah what Sir_james says makes sense about dropping to 15 weeks. That one week break really isn't necessary, and shouldn't (but probably would) cause too many issues
Smaller number of pulled juniors, could be an issue.
Since we get 0-6 juniors per week, maybe changing that to 2-6.

I don't think it's quite as easy as removing a week from the schedule.
They would have to put the playoff week together with the first cup week or alternatively start the cup and CC a Week later. Actually, if you did that there would be no reason not to remove Week 00 but they would still have to work out how to do that safely

But I don't think that the change is not gonna happen now because it is not simple. It is probably not gonna happen for a long time because the are gonna rewrite everything and only then make changes to week/season cycle.

you right, for now it not gonna happen:) week 0 = national cup, week 15 playoffs, so cant be done easy way.
i don't get the point why shortening the season length should encourage any newby to stay.
if he starts in week 3 he has to wait 13 weeks (=91 days) and if you decrease the length he'd wait 11 weeks which still is 77 days. if someone isn't willing to wait 91 days, it won't make a difference if it was 77 or 60 or even less.
i would even appreciate to have longer seasons, if you reduce them a title becomes worth less and less. of course that would only be fun if all teams are played by ambitious humans i admit.
