Dtox9 to All
I believe that, in order to prevent too many triple superdivine strikers and 5x divine midfielders, a change in "trainings needed" in order to get to superdivine is necessary. If for instance, the border from divine to superdivine is 25 trainings, instead of 10 or even less as it is now, it will be much harder to get triple superdivine strikers.

But with this change, I'd also like to improve the Superdivine skill, so it's much better than it is now.
Divine from superdivine is almost an invisible improvement at the moment. If the difference would be the equivalent of the difference between incredible and divine, for instance, then more people would choose to up 1 skill to superdivine rather than upping 2 other skills to divine. With this a more diverse squad can be trained and tactics would be more powerfull with players with superdivine skill...

im for this but to it could be introduced as new level in skills and and your name is perfect :)

I feel that the Superdivine skill was implemented as an emergency solution when things (players' progress) got out of the hands. I would rather prefer if players didnt reach such levels and if so, if it was only at the expense of other skills

So are you effectively proposing that superdivine is changed to an actual level 18 and a new level 19 is added with this additional long training time added to the game?

I have to admit when I first heard this idea on another thread I wasn't a fan but I could live with it as that would be a way to introduce the real superstar player without ruining players that have already been trained.

The one thing I would say is that I don't think you should allow keepers to be trained to this new level.

the only reason im asking for this is cause as you mentioned we already have 3x18 players in another topic
this some how will slow them down but maybe other solution exists

Yes, it's called leaving things as they are currently ;-)

I definitely prefer new skills levels (1 or 2) rather than slowing the training.

Slowing the training (or reducing season weeks without proportional increase of training efficiency) is just going to give greater advantage to current teams compared to new ones during a bunch of seasons and real value of young players would be lower.

Yeap, I have just come back to Sokker after many years but this applies equally to potential new users when the game is "relaunched".

True :)

And that is the entire purpose for it... People would need to chooseif they'd want a multidivine player or a player with an overpowered monoskill.
These players would be practically invincible at "that" skill but much weaker at the other skills in comparison to 5x divine players...and that will be because you practically need 1.5 seasons to get a player from a divine skill to superdivine.
It could be the equivalent of 6 other pops...
So you should decide wether you want a 3x divine striker or a double briljant + 1 superdivine striker

And players could become a categorized player.
Superdivine Pace = faster with ball than a divine running player without ball and even faster without ball...
Superdivine Tech = insane ball control and "skill dribble"
Superdivine passing = through ball passing and extreme long passing
Superdivine Def = extra strong and very balanced (Heading specialist)
Superdivine playmaking = 1-time playing, very fast reactions and best decisions
Superdivine Striker = extra hard and/or accurate shots, set pieces specialist

I'm only giving indications on the difference in skill with a divine skilled player...
But this will be key to prevent 5x divine players to occur too much and 3-times divine strikers would be slightly better than a superdivine striker. I would also prevent the possibility for players to have more than 1 superdivine skill. They should choose wich skill they'd like to max out!

This message pretty much sums up exactly how I also feel about things.
I could live without the additional skill levels but if it's added like this then I would accept it.

Agree with that. I think this would bring a better ballance, where you wouldn't overpower any age group's relative strength over others (i.e. already trained 2-3*superdiv current players).

Same here.

What about this option: A Player would be publicly labeled as Marksman when reached superdivine striking and he would have this special ability as you described. The same with other skills.
2020-05-06 23:50:24
Yes! Precisely what I mean with "Cathegorize" a player!
2020-05-06 23:58:30
Well then the superdivine level would finally have its purpose. I like this idea if it was balanced and only some players would reach this special category ..

Pace = Godspeed
Tech = Dribbler
Passing = Goldfeet
Def = Powerhouse
Playmaker = Leader
Striker = Marksman

For GK I should implement a secondary ultimate skill:

So a GK with superdivine pace = Reflex GK
GK with superdivine tech = Sticky Gloves
GK with superdivine passing = Counter Specialist

These extra features could make it interesting to "mix" these skills with other positions...
A powerhouse striker would be a great asset next to a Godspeed winger for example...

I liked the idea. but I believe that adding levels (18 to 20) is better. - and there should be a couple of seasons for it to start taking effect.
