Subject: [idea] Match Highlights

Match highlights

We want to attract new users to the game. Speeding up the game and adding another club competition. But we forget how the accesibility of one of the most important aspects of the game - 2D MATCH - will change

Implementing all these innovations would mean that during the week you could watch:
1) League match
2) International cup match
3) National cup match
4) NT match
5) U21 match
6) matches of other users (friends, top teams in your country/in the world, other NT teams ..)


This is just unsupportable with the current system. You have 20 minutes long matches and that is just too long to watch more games during the week. Yes, you can speed up the game but that is not really comfortable. If we really want to make use of 2D matches - game highlights with all the important chances must be implemented. People could follow many more matches and the game would be much more entertaining.


Next to each game there would be these options:
Highlights - the highlights of all important chances, could be perhaps around 1-2 minutes long?
2D - full 20 minutes 2D match
Report - text report with stats



Availability of match highlights
There are two options:
1) Highlights availability would be connected to 2D match availability. Non Plus users could watch only highlights of 2D matches they can watch, Plus users could watch highlights of all matches
2) Only Plus users could watch highlights.

Reasoning:
Highlights are entertaining factor of the game. They don't help you to win the matches. So they don't have to be accessible to everyone.


Eliminating the Pay to win factor: Last 2D matches of your next opponent should be available even to Non Plus users. It can be a huge advantage in match preparations. So paying for Plus can lead to much better results which is just not right.

In fact, highlights could be in 3D, since the tactic positioning of the players, which is the main flaw of the 3D viewer, wouldn't be the key factor that would make you see the highlights

It's a great idea, but please make it available in both 3D and 2D.

Something like this, where you can move forward o backward with highlights would be ok.

I would prefer if Devs focused on better things than 3D. Unless they are able to make the 3D match look at least like this (btw I find the constant movement of camera disturbing but the rest is great)

Football manager has the best 3d viewer I've seen in this kind of games.
I don't like 3d sokker viewer, I prefer 2d.
I'd like in sokker a 3d like football manager but it must be very difficult. A viewer like fm could attract many users. It's something different to the rest.

Yes, timeline like this would be ideal. I would like to watch the replay of the game and the highlights the same way I am watching highlights of real football matches on youtube.

forgive 3D. Better focus resources to improve match engine in 2D.

Well call me odd, but I always look 3D... With plus, you can zoom and see a much better match.
I'm not saying it isn't up for improvements, but the 2D is at least as much up to that...
So DON'T delete the 3D, for I like it!

I was looking for that video. Had seen it but forgot where to find it. I wanted to use it as example.

That is the quality Sokker needs. But indeed, less movement of camera. And a top view so tactic can also be looked at from above.

So -1 for only highlights. If an option after live match can be used to move to right minutes and play in slow motion for example (-25% and -50%) then it would be nice.

perhaps if there would be timestamps on the timeline when watching recorded 2D/3D match? You could just click on the timestamp and immediately see the goal chance

And if the summary stays in text (I should say, a good summary in text!), that could also be used to see exact minutes of important match moments?

I agree. I always watch matches in 3d.
