But the difference is, you think it's stupid, but it wont ruin your sokker experience because you have a good national league experience.
Expanding the national league to two matches kills small nations because they don't have a good national league experience, so they will leave knowing that their chance for hope in it improving is gone.
So difference is, one way ruins the game for many countries, the other way doesn't change the experience for some but doesnt ruin it

International cup should be optional without having any effect on the game, similar to the arcade games and should replace them actually.
If this mandatory I believe some users will simply not play it so I am not sure it would be fun for you to play vs some teams with no or garbage players.

The teams who do not want to play, or who use it for training, will be relegated to the bottom division. It will have zero impact on how much fun I have.
It sure beats having people using their 2nd team in the prestigious national league, thus making the national league less prestigious, but making it more unfair as someone uses their 2nds against one team, but not against another.
Plus how do we know what the small nations want when the Sokker DEVs do not post anything about changes coming to sokker, or the survey in 75% nations with less than 40 users?

With bot cleaning Wich was good thing small countries do not have basically second official game so negative effect they have only friendlies to train whole season so new competition is essential to them from poll results in BG seems users there want new tournament than second leguages game ...

I just can't fathom that people want to put their own personal preference over what is best for all the users of the game and for the game itself.
Not every idea I propose, or support, are what I want, but I believe coming up with options that are best for the most people and most nations, and therefore the game, is more important than any individual opinion I have

The truth is that I understand the problems that can occur in small countries. Currently there are about 25 countries with 8 or less users.
the problem is that whatever the final configuration of sokker is, it will continue to be problematic for all these countries.
who knows which is the ideal solution? it is evident that seen the surveys (official or Czech rep) there will always be many people who will not be happy. whatever the devs' final decision is.
It is true that the opinion of current users is very important. but if you want to re-enter the "market" you need to know the needs and priorities of those who are not currently in sokker. to know that they have those games with many more users than sokker and try to find a balance point for everyone. It will not be easy, and many will leave unhappy but (hopefully more will come).

I highly disagree here such approach will actually kill the game do we want people that come and go after few season or stable permanent core users that play the game for long
Obviously polls show big countries vs medium country exp is different
But there is solution always for both like maybe support of different calendar or merge of countries or just wait till more countries grow
Imo business opportunity in some small countries is bigger than some big ones but it needs patience to be achieved

If you want to stay long, you need to grow and, for this, you need the right balance to keep current users happy but also satisfy the needs of new users. always without losing the essence of sokker. but what is that essence? you probably think it's one and and I'm probably a little bit different. and we are only 2. in total there are 10000 opinions. As someone must decide, the devs will. those who like the result, we will continue, those who do not like it, we will leave. New users who like it will come. it is simple.

Yep quite simple ignore users that paid plus for more than 13y to have 10 that will quit in a season or two.

it was example for owner what will be his profit cause at the end the owners will decide not that plus gives anything at all :)
