+1!

but seriously, this is a strategy game. Even though the original system was better than the actual one, the question should not be which one of them. We should move on to something more complex and less random. And not mess it up this time.

Makes sense. I wanted to see number of votes, so DEVs could make good decision on youth school.

The old system should never have been changed in my opinion

It worked really well and you got a clear picture of what the players talent was , nowadays it's just frustrating and pointless

A pop followed by drops then maybe a pop , at least before it was consistent

is there any general consent on aspects which the juniors system should have? perhaps there are some good ideas in polish forums, but I have not seen any idea which would have the support of the majority here so far.

predictability of talent
visible age
less random
more strategy - being able to influence incoming juniors and perhaps their training as well
preserve the chance of even weak teams to pull a star
give richer teams some options to spend the money without giving them a too big advantage over others
...

Like I said before (and maybe others did too, don't really know anymore)

Have skills become visual with matches played and have general skill become visual after x amount of weeks.
Age should always be displayed. It's not that a team signs a new player and doesn't know his age until they see him play or promote him to the first time. That doesn't make any sense

For the skills, I'd say...

First match played: Stamina becomes visual
Thirth match played on same position, Position skill becomes visual (for all positions - so 3 weeks mid =playmaking, 3 weeks def = def, ALSO for GK.
6th match played, random skill
10th match played, general skill becomes visual
12th match played, random skill becomes visual
15th match played, random skill
20th match played, all skills are visual (if not allready)

I think the new junior system is quite good. Knowing the exact talent of every junior was too "easy" and boring.

I just would make easier for the newcomers everything about the slots. The number of total and free slots could be visual, and you should just say the number of free slots. There's no need to add them to the used ones every week

On the other side, I like the idea of showing the skills as the juniors play matches. That would be enough to know his position once you know 2 or 3 of them

that is another thing which doesn't make sense with the current system and it did not with the old one either. Instead of the option of having always (6) places open, I have to set it manually every week.

Visible skills over time make some sense, even though it would mean losing the surprise element when pulling new youngsters. But on the other side this would limit the possibility of strategic intervention to juniors training.

Now you have multiple surprises each week...
Seeing a youth player "pop" on a skill, would also be a nice addition!
But therefor I won't have a specific training for the players, but a general training for the general skill.
With each "general skill pop" The player should improve between 2 and 4 skills (random)

Maybe something like this:

2020-05-27 23:16:51
But some youth players.only stay 6 or 14 weeks in youth instead of 20 30 weeks. How you gonna show there skills than?
2020-05-27 23:35:32
the new system has ups and downs for all players, its graphics seem to be waves.

because they are ready to leave the youth school sooner, their skills could be visible sooner as well.

@Terrion yes, perhaps something like that. But I still dislike that there is no element of strategy. Everyone who can afford to have a junior coach and a junior school opened, can afford to have 6 places opened. Why would anyone open fewer places if everyone can afford to have maximum places opened?
