Subject: [idea] Game economy
We need to reward the teams playing for winning to avoid the farm team syndrom. The problem is there...
So counting cup games and seasonal bonus you made profit of lets say 1 333 330 $
That's not really enough for blaming tickets sales for player prices of 23 333 275 $
I got 850 000 $ just from seasonal bonuses.
I got easily more than 1 500 000 $ from cup tickets. I did go far in the cup.
But in the times when I wasn't playing the cup finals, I had a positive 2-week balance, plus seasonal bonuses, plus several rounds of cup tickets.
You can safely assume that I was making 1 500 000 $ profit for years.
Multiply that with 20 or something seasons, and you can see how it build us.

What i do not understand is why you see it as wrong that you made profit.
Thing is... It shouldn't be possible to relegate into the lower divisions, training super expensive mega talents and still make money and gain team wealth without any sportive desire...
Then it's not football anymore, but just business.
Its sucks, but how do you prevent that without taking the chance for new users to catch up via training?

It's too easy.
I want new users to catch up with me so we can have fun :)
How are they gonna do that if I just keep growing?

So you want to cut their income so they will be able to catch you?
I am just making an argument why we need a money sink.
I am pro coach retirement. I want Raul to force me to recruit new coaches :)
New user has to recruit new coaches anyway, it wont harm them.
I also proposed this, that would add more youngsters to the market. Just what new managers need.

Yeah, then we finally agree on something. I pro money sinking, pro coach retirement. But most of all i think the shortest way is to adjust the transfer market, mostly against cheaters.
The other is adding features that would not add any advantage for teams paying for them. Or at least exponential prices for the level of "feature" while the levels would stay linear. Meaning for the top level you would have to sink more money.
I am against adjusting the economy itself (at least drastically) because you would "punish" all of the users, but mostly on the lower levels, because the rich can already afford it.

The game should "build" a player mindset, to prevent players to go to teams with a dropping trend in their club rating. -Dtox9
great idea +1
if some players refuse to be put on the transfer list, this can also be done

That would mean once a loser always loser. When you are weak you cant buy players?

I would adjust it a little, but in the favor of people who need it.
You make a good point that it gets harder when you are not at the top of the league.
I would make it so that incomes from sponsors don't drop when the mood of your supporters drop.
Ticket sales drop when the supporters' mood drops, sponsors should be disconnected from the mood to give some financial stability to teams who are not leading the league.
I think it's a good thing that we have a positive 2-week balance. It makes management smoother and less stressful.
I was just trying to make a point that the money is stacking, and we need ways to get some money out of the game (like coach replacement).

That would be a good solution in current system. Small teams depend more on sponsors money than ticket sales, because they dont have big stadiums. But still would need to be tested.

An easy way could be creating random players (using common sense with skills/age) without club and put them in transfer list. All the money wasted in them would be out of the game inmediatly, as it happens with the trainers.
This also could decrease players value, because there could be more "valuable" players.

Completely agree with you. Removing extra money from game should be easy thing to do and there is lot of ways to do it.
But making mindset of users to constantly play on result and trying to be in top leagues is something we really need. Lot of users have strategy to sit in lower division for 10 seasons earning money and then make their move to try to win league or CC for few seasons before go back to lower division for next 10-15 seasons.
Solution:
Depending on strength of the league there should be bigger prize money for this teams. Of course this teams need to have great players and coaches to get there so salaries for this kind of players/coaches should be bigger, but as the prize money is greater they have money to pay it. Number should be calculated so top teams at the end have same amount of money as today. But now as salaries are bigger for top players/coaches and prizes for teams in lower divisions are not great it is not easy to be farm in lower division. Now it would take double time as before like 20-25 seasons for them to accumulate enough money and nobody would wait until 2027 to try to win league or CC and they will try to compete.
