Subject: [idea] Game economy

dind't read all the discussion.

I think we need:
-to slow down the stadium income
-make a progressive transfer tax which increases when the player is resold shortly after purchase and goes to zero when it's resold after 2 seasons or more.

I see no conception in the proposals. In RL player does not usually choose a new club that offers him worse financial conditions than the previous one.

In rl players also don't get paid more if a skill gets a bit better as past week ;) I think what I wrote is at least an idea to make players more expensive to keep and therefore money is taken out the game, or replace the player to keep wages as high as it is but loose a lot of tactical discipline.

The best option is that Sokker should work with contracts like rl, the more years you want a player, the more he will ask, but I don't think that will happen.

Certainly not the division difference...
If you're going to "punish" high division teams, cause the players are going to be more expensive playing there, you take away the motivation to promote in the first place.
Maybe the solution lies in making all things more expensive, for everyone, but have extra means for investment in your club.
Marketing (shirts sales), youth expantions, stadium food income and increase of staff (catering, foodstands, club shop, economist, fysiologists, doctors, scouts, training entourage and establishment,...) The sky is the limit...
BUT... on the other hand, best and unique players... They should have unique wages as well... 300k weekly... Best coaches... 5M each season, in stead of 1M as it is now...
players just under the top... 150k weekly etc...
Super talents or hot prospects... faster wage increase by growing and bigger starting wage after promotion...

Another solution, players ask more salary the longer they are with a club

A bit different idea, but based on your proposal - maybe player ontract extentions?
After buying a player, you contract him for 3 seasons. Then you need to renew his contract, to keep him in club, if you will not - then you will lose him, he will apear as "free player" on TL.

It can be some % of his total salary during 3 seasons, so, lets assume we have player with average 10k euro salary, so he gets 3x 13x 10k = 390k euro during one contract period, so additional salary for re-signing his contract could be like 30-50%.

It will be well balanced, will affect more top teams than begginers, also player salaries will be more important for game economy. "free" players will get on TL and also remove some money from the game.

What about selling the the player?
Simply extend his contract and sell him, don't let him go for free.

What happens when his skills drop?
When skills drop, player's value and wage drops, it makes no sense that his wage keeps growing.

I think it would be better to just inflate the base wage every season. (let's say 5%)
If the base wage is 10.000€, and he is playing his third season, the effective wage would be 11.500€ (10.000+(3*5%)).
If he loses skills in the following year so that his base wage becomes 9.000€, the next season's effective wage would be 10.800€ (9.000+(4*5%)).

Was outside cannot response but in mobile version of the game running by Greg there is contract negation is worst thing ever that can be imagine. Salary goes insane people tha dare to buy such players go on bancrupt all the time... Such players usually gets fired then anyone buys them.
And this will not affect top players it will affect the middle class that is trying to catch top players because people with money will afford such players but others no. What will happen people will stay low collect money and will attack competitions for a season or too and will hibernate after ..

Interesting, we will chat with Greg about it.
From the other hand it works like that in top eleven, Football Manager and many others.

*James - agree, maybe it can be calculated different, it Was just a quick idea.

in top eleven money are not a problem i have billions in my account there tokens matter ...
also you always forget communities around NT people that build players with consistent proper training will have hard times to train and detached from their favorite players
The worst thing economy now is wild trading and that is where efforts needed.

there are two problems, traiding is one of them, but we have also to much money in the game. We need some solutions to decrease inflation too.
2020-06-13 17:13:27
part of inflation is cause lots of user that were hibernating wake up that soon or later will finish after few random games they will quite again :)
2020-06-13 17:37:28
Maybe the sponsors could increase/decrease their payments according to the proportion between the quantity of money in the market and the number of active users?

That would balance the game economy automatically forever
