A chat box for live matches!
Like live-chat on live-streaming youtube videos.

+1, it could be by country or division, will put together users
-1, could have spoilers if we aren't at the same time. It's impossible to coincide simultaneously at the same second.
do not activate it, if you don't want spoilers... after that you connect with previous commments
I had mentioned a similar thing in one of my other thread where I also wrote a simple way to bypass it.
Let's say the match starts at 10:00. Then, there should be a window from 10:00 to 10:05 where the match won't start unless both players have logged in and clicked on the live button. This will ensure that both users will be able to watch the game at the same time. Again, the user can be given an option to watch the match straightaway, in which case he doesn't have to wait for the other player to tune in and press on the live button. In that case the live chat option won't get activated. Simple.

I honestly doesn't see the point. Most users don't even use the TV studio, so it is a clue about the use of a live chat.
I would prefer to encourage the forum rather than a live chat.

TV Studio is very very different from live chat. Live chat will be fun.
Use Discord... Live chat, next to the site, for as much users as you'd like...
On site... live chat is useless

I still don't get why live chat would be useless. Is it because of the language barrier for players from different countries? Or maybe because managers wouldn't just be interested in the feature? What's the reason?
I personally think adding live chat would be kind of cool. You'll definitely get that odd manager who you can have fun with during the game (and of course get under his skin when his team loses).

You got the point! My brazilian mentor in sokker-tactics, Woody, used to organize some chats on skype during U21-matches. Participants? Him, some well known sokker managers from the Czech Republic, some other well known managers from other countries of this world and me. It was great fun! In some matches we analyzed tactics live and in other matches the atmosphere in the chat was very polarized!
I miss those chats... :)
