Subject: [idea]Notifications page

Coming from a situation for me, as a moderator, where I closed a topic and the person wasn't aware that I closed his thread because I didn't personally sent him a message. Though this can be countered by an email, sent to the ''offender'', I rather see the entire notifications programming changed. Cause these days, if you log-in, you might have gotten lots of notifications, but if you open 1 and it takes more than a ''moment'' to check the notification, if you then click on another notification, all other notifications are gone...
So my suggestion...
1) Make for each account a separate notifications page where you can check them on your own pace.
2) If you ''make'' a new topic on forum, have a forum notification if someone should delete or close it.
My opinion... make it impossible for mods and admins to instantly delete topics. They should be closed first for like a month or so and then deleted automatically. Also, give closed topics an option for mods and admins to re-open it. It happens occasionally, but sometimes mods or admins permanently delete a topic by ''mis-clicking'', certainly with smartphone log-ins...
Maybe a ''sent topic to forum archive'' button could be a good idea to make topics read-only on a separate Forum Archive Page.
3) Give managers the choice for themselves to delete notifications, with possibilities to ''automatically delete notifications after reading'', ''save notifications'', or ''Highlight notification''. If it's a milestone for you, or a player from your youth team who's been put back for sale so you can follow his evolution...for example.
My opinion, it will give more involvement for the manager with his team.
And giving notifications a more dynamic style wouldn't hurt as well :-)

You are underestimating the UX designer :)
I think you can completely forget how notifications are working now. There is a bell icon in proposed designs, with the number of unread notifications. It is probably gonna work like the facebooks one. I hope that they are gonna have "mark all as read" option.

+1
And a big plus for this:
If it's a milestone for you, or a player from your youth team who's been put back for sale so you can follow his evolution...for example.
Following evolution of players from your club would be awesome.
