Subject: [idea] team star

According to Dev. Diary 18 and https://xd.adobe.com/view/df6a16fc-0146-45c6-952e-c376ee32df9a-8a39/, there will be a new element called team star.



How about following criteria to introduce "team star"?

1. If there is a NT player on the squad: NT-player with highest value.
Introducing player as "International Star" (at the place of "experienced defender" on the pic) and showing number of NT-caps.
If no player is actual NT-player, then see #2

2. If there is a U21 player on the squad: U21-player with highest value
Introducing player as "International Rising Star" (at the place of "experienced defender" on the pic) and showing number of U21-caps.
If no player is actual U21-player, then see #3

3. Player with highest value under age of 32 and with goalkeeper-skill less than 10
Introducing player as "MVP" (at the place of "experienced defender" on the pic)
If no player under age of 32, then see #4

4. Player with highest value over the age of 32 and with goalkeeper-skill less than 10
Introducing player as "MVP" (or as "Skeleton" ;P )

we will have only goalies if its the highest value maybe avg performance rating in the last 10 nt games with more than 45m played ?

What about let everybody to choose their star?

I think it would be fair, although some users may joke with it, but in real life is subjective for fans and he doesn't have to be the one with the most goals, etc...

On the other hand, if he is injured or sanctioned in the match viewer will the sanctioned or injured star appear? or should he be aligned? Because, it wouldn't be logical that appears a player who doesn't participate in the match. In this case could be applied addition rules.

I like it but think about small countries with weak players...

What about new notes system (old one will stay, but currently it measure mostly relative strenght of player). We are thinking about adding notes like in most football sumarries - note 1-10, where 6 is a starting point. Final note is a result of player game performance, team result... so if week team won against strong oponent thanks to goalkeeper performance and striker who scored two goals (even if his stats are weak) they will get high note for particular game, when better players from opposite team will get low notes, according the fact that they played under expectations.

That note system could be a good starting point for team star selection.

It would be the ideal, all like real life is better, but I think it's rather MVP player of the match, not team star. It would be great if It appears in the end of the match viewer with the rest of statistics. And team star could be replaced for something like MVP last match or to have different rules, like free selection.

I find this new element totally artificial and useless but maybe I am the only one to think so...
