Subject: »[idea] training independent of position
- 1
Current rules emphasize that training depends on the Last position played (order) and minutes played.
However, to make it simple to new users, wouldn’t it be better that the train just depends on:
1. Being in one out of the 10 training slots
2. The minutes played...
Then the order will have no effect.

To me, it is not clear from what I´ve read, but if you are right that would be splendid!!!
I want that training slots have the option to decide what to train, and that the match-order deoes not matter, just minutes played
thus,
two strikers can train different skills
one trainable player can play in two different positions in official matches

No, that's not really realistic. I do feel that you should be able to train your players more directly, but not individual. It is not that with footballclubs, there are players who receive solo training. Trainers always train at least small groups.
one trainable player can play in two different positions in official matches
Yes, I think that might be possible... though, not in 1 match
I know the devs have made their decision on how the training system should work, but I have a slight adjustment to propose...
I feel we should work towards 4 assistants and give them all their own task.
So GK assistant; 50% keeper, 25% playmaking, 25% passing
DEF assistant: 50% defender, 50% pace
MID assistant: 25% technique, 25% passing, 25% playmaking, 25% pace
ATT assistent: 33% pace, 33% technique, 33% striker
Main coach; 20% stamina, 80% own choice
Give your team 22 spots for training, divided in 2 GK, 8 DEF, 8 MID and 4 ATT
But ONLY for training. The match orders should only count for their actions on the field, not training.

I agree with you guys
The current proposal is unfortunate, it is confusing even for us, not mentioning newbies. And I mean not confusing just to understand the system but follow it so your players do not miss the training
I like 10 (or 11) training slots and the idea of spliting training groups up to 4 (1 coach + 3 assistants). Each coach could have a group of trainees assigned and you could choose the proportions of trained skills in each group. Coaches could be more expensive then now, so only most succesful teams could afford to personalise training in 4 groups.
General training could depend on the overall skill of a coach in each group (main coach for non trained players)
as you said, Devs have already made their minds, but that cannot stop me from being a dreamer :))

I think that individual training is a very important determinant of a player's potential in real life, Messi needed special medical treatment when he was little.
and I agree with
The match orders should only count for their actions on the field, not training...
skills determine player´s perfomance in one position but training may be focus on sth else.

Agree this might be hard and confusing,
From the mockups, training was not set in the same page that shows coaches' performance
Players have orders, not training... there is a missing link there... not to mention all the visualization confusion that could emerge in determine who has a slot, who has played, who is not playing this week...
thus, to make it simple and connect training with slots, that is the main idea we can be flexible with the order...

+1 although I would accept if one of the orders of the week is saved because It make a little sense if you train a skill more depending your position.
The problem for new users like some of my friends is not to understand why players lose first order and so they lose training. This was already discussed previously, and Devs said that this would be fixed.
