Subject: The Idea of Mixed Teams Leagues (Both Senior and U21)

I'll just tell beforehand that this is a pretty wonky idea and some people might even take this as a joke (which is ok) but this can spice up a few things in the world of Sokker.

What if we combine various clubs in Sokker? When I say combine, I'm talking about sharing of players of different clubs to form a new team that will compete with other combined teams. For example, there's a club A and club B. A new club C can be created with the set of players of A and B combined. Both the managers can manage that team, create tactics, participate in leagues, etc but the club C can't buy new players, sell players, etc unless the club A/club B buy players in their own club. Club C will participate in a league which is only composed of these combined teams. We can add restrictions that the playing 11 will have a max of 6 players from 1 club, etc. Or we can also form a combined team of say 3 clubs with 4 players max from 1 team in the playing 11. We can also have separate leagues based on senior team and U21, similar to how we have for NT. We can further add a few more intricacies, rules, etc but what do you think? Will this work?

Who would you combine with?

This is not about combining as much as it is about team work. You have plenty of games where you work as a team to achieve a certain kind of objective and playing as a team is also fun as compared to when you play just alone. We can introduce this novel idea of teamwork to management games.

I think the National Teams are all about team work.

if we are into teamwork management, I would prefer sokker to focus on NT's rather than your particular idea... for instance U23 national team, continental official tournaments, etc...

That's a good suggestion.

The idea that I proposed may or may not work. But what's wrong in giving it a shot? We can easily disband it if people are not too keen with it.

Don't you think the complete screw up of the Sokker week is not enough change for now ;)

First let see how many will be left after a few weeks because they forget to set line up 50% of the times, or even worse with 5 matches in 1 week :S And get a penalty for forgetting line up and 'helping' opponents to win the league. I have an irregular working week, and work weekends. All these changes are so much fun ....... not

Was keeping my team alive in the hope of better times. But it seems to get way worse with every 'new' idea. 14,5 years and it looks like to end soon!

I think that most people are resistant to change initially as we get used to things the way they are and are very skeptical of new ideas. I just pitched in a new suggestion that looked interesting for me and I'm well aware that not everyone will agree to my point of view (lol majority didn't) which is completely natural.

I get your view but we'll have to actually experience all these new changes to pass a good judgement.

Stick with the game mate. You never know, you might start enjoying it even more than now.
