Still too much, a lot of divines if you don't reduce a lot main training with age, and if you reduce it too much could be better to have older players (maybe), but it's a better approach.
I think if they enter before at YS, they don't need to come out with 19-20yo.

Actually... you need to go out of the fact that they DID join earlier on, but only joined the ''junior'' league which is visible now.
the u6 to u15 are not visible to us, but once they come into the U17 they might join the junior league, which you should compare with the U21 league...
But with players like they are now, that league can never be attractive for spectators.

So another alternative is to have players join the league from the age of 15, keep U21 players within the junior league, make their skills [eventually gradually] visible and have that group have its own training scedule. You might be able to promote a youth player early on, with F.E. after a minimum of 30 weeks in the junior league, but at least something should be done to make it more challenging and certainly, more attractive!

Well the huge difference that is in how players act on field per level, and how static it is, should imo also be looked into, this could give more sense in trying younger players....

and if we can only train 10 players in pace in future, it will be naturally that youth players are usually faster then now.. i think this needs to be looked into....

Also just make training slower. We have lesser weeks in future, so it is possible to make training slower, without risking there is nothing to watch of pop per week... then let them start from 12, go to 18 on as long time as it used to be from 8 to 18 in seasons

Also you could spring in a new skill: Youthful energy per age

This will make the players desire to improve on field higher, and can spring some surprises in matches, but playing more random then experienced players...... and it could be high even at 21-23...


Also (i said that some times)..... if players where much more exhausted then now, and that stamina actually became a skill, then substitutes would be needed, and that will result very often in the younger players on team.....

Stamina as a real skill, would also be able to give more possible places things to train, so you could have higher skills from start, but more progress available

The youth energy skill seems rather complicated, but I'm all in favor of a full skill in stamina...
Engine players are a common and attractive type of player irl, but totally unknown here.
Also strength needs some attention. A typical skill for defenders, defensive midfielders and a specific type of strikers.

And maybe even there is good programming of ME, so that we could see even more beautiful football, then there could be added 19 and 20 to list of skill maybe.... push out the "garden football" stage, and advance on the highest... that would also make 12-13-14 players more possible vs 16-17

Yeah, skills low than 11/12 are shitty. It's ok for some skills, like playmaker and defender, but pace cannot be so low, for any kind of player, minimum should've been around 9.

So true. Distribution (of skills) is far more important than global skill level.

In other hand, i sold (millions) few juniors because there were very youngs (16-17y) with a good distribution and totally untalented :D

+1 and also i put other thing in that

Make sokker give to us almost the 8 skills that this youth school player have, ofc... will depend of the level of your coach, a 16 coach will show complete after some weeks but a 14-15 coach will show about 80% for example and just minimum low of this specific skill that this player have, for example... i have a 15 coach and a 18y incredible player on youth school with 1 week like you put.

4 stamina | 0 keeper
9 - 11 pace | 9 - 11 defender
4 - 6 technique | 4 - 6 playmaking
5 passing | 4 sriker

In my opinion have this will be way more fun to run the youth school and will help also to see the youth school matches, since is random as fuck you make a squad since you do not know the skills.

what if we just start with a change of the max age?

lets say instead of max age 20, lower down max age to 18 or 19?

now you even have the possibilty to pull a player at age of 20 and day after he's 21...age update...
