2nd team in my opinion is less to do with junior teams and more to do with teams within a country.
It gives a chance for teams in all nations to have actual competition, and for countries to grow.

For example, 38 countries cannot even fill their Div 1 with human teams when it expands to 12 teams, and this is assuming all users in those countries are actually humans (In Australia, 13 of our 29 users are either teams that were opened to release NT players/prospects, or have not got a single log in. An even greater number are outside the 50days, and I'd say this is true for many countries).

There are flow on positive effects such as youths etc. but it is secondary to having actual competition (for many nations) and having close competition for many more.

The good thing about this idea is it could be implemented at a basic level tomorrow, with just signing up and then the automatic features such as actually being unable to bid on the other teams players etc. to be implemented in the future.

yep, it doesn't work for plus. But plus can add extra features for managing 2 teams more confortable. Another reason to pay plus.

juniors can 't replace an A-team. At best, (for the lucky guys) we keep training 1 - 2 juniors. Whatever, first team (and 2d!) is nothing about juniors.

+1 2d team can really help countries with too few users. Efficient and much simpler than your merging countries obsession :-p

Simpler for design purposes, but not simpler for the user and not as much fun.

Another game I play (where I advertise sokker) has second teams as part of their "plus" package, and whilst it is good, most teams do not put the same amount of time in to their 2nd team, so often they become a good in between challenge between bots and 1st teams.

So whilst it will help, merging will still be better, as you will play other 1st teams, and a lot of managers struggle with one team, let alone two, and may not even sign up a 2nd team.

So merging is still a better option, but I do understand it will take time to implement, but the pay-off is much bigger.
This idea however could literally be implemented tomorrow in a basic concept, with people cheating reported to admins (no different to having two people on the same IP) with future automatic features being implemented at a latter date.

So in conclusion
Merging is still better than two teams, with better pay-offs for everyone involved
Two teams is quicker to implement and would be an improvement on the current system

Then you're promoting pay to play... and the victims are, yet again, the smaller countries... Exactly the teams for whom this idea gives purpose.

Why not 2nd team?

I'd try, if devs implement this.

2nd team in an international league mixing all countries, only for PLUS users.

It is not. 2d team is 2d team as proposed in this topic ^^ aattttttchhhoooummm !

This is just an alternative proposal to make everybody happy, especially you juytt !!!!
