I disagree with this idea, the internal competition in each country would be lost, so if there are 10 users there is always internal competition and they fight for the honor of being the best in that country, also the champions of each country would cease to exist because the national tournament itself would cease to exist, there would be no champions from Guatemala, Canada, Honduras, etc...

I would propose a parallel regional league or cup (with groups stage), where the teams would associate according to their ranking and would move depending on the results of the season, similar format to the Nations League but for clubs,

Little countries like Guatemala or Panama will not grow if we do not mergue leagues. Do you know that the money that receives a champion in Central America is the same as someone playing in the third or fourth division in Poland? How can we grow?

Or you do like playing against bots in the national cup until the best 8 round?

Imagine a league were all the users are real? Isn't that more interesting? If you'd like to have a national champion it can be done by the ranking at the end of the season. For example the best club from Panamá is the 10th in the ranking of that league so that team can go to the champions cup and the best from Guatemala is the 15th so that team will be the representation of its country.

If we want to grow we need to have more games with real persons, also you can't deny that playing to a real person is much interesting than playing with bots!

That's something that can be arranged once the DEVs take this idea in account. First we need DEVs to start speaking about it.

I could see keeping the league as a good compromise for national competition but then pool the teams from these select countries into a cup competition though.

For example:
I will mostly face bot teams in Canadian Cup (Voyageur Cup) until the final stages of the competition so I see that being quite pointless in a country with not enough users but could face more interesting competition in this new international cup.

So something like Champions Cup but just with active users from these selected countries. Rank them maybe based off of highest match rating during last season or however they rank them in the current cup to be fair between countries.

Invite your friends, share the game on social media and take the time to explain the game to people and that they need to be patient. Do youtube videos, do whatever it takes to improve your members numbers (sexual favors should be avoided, bribery and threatening is okay :-))) !
See ya

Exactly, that's why I was thinking of an international competition parallel to the league of each country, based on ranking as you say, but with a long duration, either group stage or league mode with the active teams of the countries involved. It could take place instead of the cup, maybe.

The league is necessary to maintain the representativeness of each country, each country needs to have a champion, promotions and relegation. In each country, no matter how small, there is always a classic, a game that you want to beat your rival or your friend, this internal national competition would be removed if the leagues were joined as one.

In Central America I think almost everyone would like to merge the leagues of each country so we can be more users. I think merging the leagues of small countries like mine would help to improve the level.

This should have been done years ago. No fun to be the only manager in a division or even the entire league !! And you are 100% correct about the money part

Merge leagues, but countries should still exist with their own forum, and ofcourse national teams.

The moment there are enough managers for a nice league, a country should get it's own league. >> So You want your own country league? Start promoting Sokker!!

I kind of think it would be better to keep the national cup system and then have merged leagues. The cup system keeps your localised nationality but doesn't impact things like sponsorship/gate receipts too much. The league on the other hand dictates by and large the number of fanclub members one gets. Size of fanclub basically from my understanding is used to calculate supporters expectations (and hence supporters mood), gate receipts (more fans each of you have more gate receipts one gets (amongst other factors like weather and prices), sponsorship upper and lower limits (as league prestige is mostly built around fan sizes from what I can tell), and current fan club size in comparison to other teams in the league also have a large role in how many additional fans you get each week. Thus it's a cyclic effect -> the more fans one has in a league, the more income you generate to get even more fans. So atm smaller nations are therefore at a disadvantage. Would be better to be merged leagues to allow fan club sizes to grow and hence end up with more money, a stronger team and more enjoyment. Keep your nationality for cup and for youth schools (hence keeping the NTs going) but just fix up where the weakness in the system currently is by merging leagues together for smaller size teams.

So I've previously been a complainant of sponsorship but really I think my argument has shifted to the issue is to do with how fan club size seems to heavily influence every financial aspect of the game and at the same time the fact that fan club size growth is limited around what others in your league have means that as a top side in a bot infested country, you will never end up with enough fans in the league to compete with other sides who do have this competition. Do bots even grow in fan size? (I feel like they're set at a particular value unless they were a human side in which case they're then set when they turn bot to whatever they had?)
