bal to All
hi all,

I want to propose to stop the effect of arcade games to a team's ranking. also the friendlies should not count in my opinion.

not to mention that certain teams use this is in several ways to their advantage..but generally I think that it is wrong in any way for the friendly or arcade games to affect the score of a team. maybe it makes sense for the friendly games to matter only for NTs.

please let us know of your thoughts in order to give some feedback to the developers

Also supporters spirit should not be affected from friendly matches, nor the income from the sponsors. That is wahnsinn...

Agree about arcade games but don’t agree about friendlies. Friendlies are the only method for which a country to grow its base pool of ranking points as it’s the only format we can play sides against international opponents. If these were excluded small countries in particular wouldn’t have any chance of growing its total share of ranking points and would therefore always be behind those larger countries (if I need to explain that here then that’s an issue). Whilst ranking might be artificial (and that in itself may be questionable) it still is what is used to seed things like champions cup so it still has some importance. As for fan mood hits off friendlies I can go either way and don’t have a particular preference.

I get your point, but maybe we should think of another more just way to give ranking in "small" Sokker communities in order to avoid the outranking phenomenon..

For example we could say that the points gained for a victory will be distributed depending on the number of teams and the division but only in official matches. This way small countries will get some kind of bonus in their ranking tables. I believe that Countrywise it can be justified.

What you say means that every sokker user must look for the weakest friendly opponent with the highest ranking possible. So not only "your" kind of user gets an advantage. And what about the ones that dont have the time or will to do this? This way there is some kind of imbalance created which makes the game "not the same" for everybody.

If there’s another way for ranking to work I’m willing to listen but that would need to fleshed out before eliminating ranking from friendlies entirely. I agree that atm it’s selectively pick your friendlies if you care about ranking and that perhaps isn’t in the best interests of the concept of friendlies.

With 2 leguage games per week coming it makes sense to eliminate ranking there .
They are and will be dedicated for youth players that you train and no point of affecting the ranking ..

For me adding 2 League games per week was worst decision ever for sokker ...

We will find out in 3 seasons +.

Bal is correct though about arcade.

5 years ago I used arcade to gain ranking because it gave me extra weekly income, better cup seeding, nothing bad comes out of high ranking.

Not sure if it still works like this.
