Value of players is useless, doesn't have anything to do with some kind of real value in the game. Is only confusing for new players who go to transferlist.

I think it is better to change this value into skillpoints (or whatever name) and make it the same for all countries so we all see the same 'value'.

So value: 182 500 € can become something like Skillpoints: 182 500, so no more currency, and every manager will see number 182 500

It would be more useful to se the player's BEST RATING VALUE... just like in Sokker Organizer... for ex. "Central Defender 58.2" or "Attacking Midfielder 37.6"...

For me it makes sense, it's the sum of the subskills and the value. But it's true that the currency can confuse new users.

Indeed, value could become skillpoints, and in all countries the same.

So all info will stay, indeed standarize the number. It will only take some time to get used to a different number, depending what number of which country is used.


Almost no one is playing this game in the USA, so use Dollar for example, and turn this value into skillpoints.

(and do the same with Dollar to a new Sokker currency so everyone has to get used to it)

The player value is a representation of the skills without knowing the skills.
I'm fine with the way the current values are calculated, except for the GK values.

Yet I feel the values should be a bit more clear.

I give an example of my own players...

Marko Decaluwe , age 27
value: 2 092 000 €
wage: 25 350 €
magical form
height: 167 cm, weight: 66.7 kg,
BMI: 23.9
bookings:
formidable stamina tragic keeper
divine pace superdivine defender
outstanding technique excellent playmaker
formidable passing good striker

It's clear he is a defender but I feel his value isn't correct concidering his skills.

His skills give me a total of 79 points for all skills he needs as a defender... so that is ALL skills except keeper and striker.
This said, he has 35 out of 36 possible points on his primary skills, which are defender and pace.
So I think his value must be 3 500 000 for his primary skills + a value for his sideskills which is a total of 44, so it should be 440 000. Total value should be 3 940 000

Primary skills should count in 100 000 points per skillpoint.
Sideskills (including stamina) should count in 10 000 points per skillpoint.
This way you can have a rough estimation on ''how good'' a player is, without knowing his exact skills distribution.
As for form... It should never have any influence on his value since form is very changeable in short period and largely random.

my proposal for all positions...

GK:
Main skill = keeper
Side skills = pace, passing, playmaker

DEF:
Main skills = defender and pace
Side skills = stamina, technique, passing and playmaker

MID:
Main skills = playmaker, technique and passing
Side skills = stamina, pace, playmaker and striker

ATT:
Main skills = striker, pace and technique
Side skills = stamina, passing, defender and playmaker


Also, imo, the ratings should be adjusted.
A double divine defender with formidable stamina and low sideskills gets around 50 rating as a central defender.
My opinion is that his ratings should be way higher and his game should be much better in the ME!
I feel defender should be the skill which sets the capabilities of his tackling skills AND his defensive positioning!

Cause if you compare with GK f.e., they only have 1 main skill and could get 95 ratings with superdivine keeper without his other skills concidered...

If it's about the skillpoints, then tell me why a fresh GK with excellent keeper and no sideskills (10 skillpoints) has around
250 000 value and a divine youth player (around 51 skillpoints) with tragic keeper and evenly divided skillpoints
only has 160 000?

the scale of Gks is different from the other skills, he is not a field player. that could be change but dont want to go on that point

what happen if a player has outstanding on defense, pace, pm and passing. Should he go for Mid or def?

The good thing about sk is that performance doesnt depend only on the order, but also the position on the field, then u may choose what skills are needed. For example in my case I like to use def mids with high pace, def and pm, lower tech and lower passing, sometimes as mid order, sometimes as def.
