How about a return to the old style youth school
Where the skill level was clear and player levels didn't drop ??
The current set up is just stupid . Players drop 2 or 3 levels one week , then up 1 or 2 levels the next
And almost every single player that arrives from my school in the last 2 years or so actually drops on the day I can get him into my squad
I've been here since 2005 , and I have to admit that this stupidity and total randomness is becoming frustrating
Go to the old style and you see exactly the skill level of your player , and there's no crazy swings

Sorry mate , real life is extremely hectic . I'm miles behind anything and I've pretty much given up catching up lol

This system could have some "steady-state error", the better the coach, better the evaluation, but without oscillation, for example, one unearthly coach will evaluate the exact value of a player, an incredible coach will be much less accurate.
It sucks when you have an unearthly coach and eventually one player "loses" skills after 5+ weeks :(.
