Subject: Question: WHAT IF?

Seeing what people are "pulling" out of their Youth Teams, or better yet what they are NOT "pulling", considering the LOW LEVEL of the players that come out; I was thinking that having a Youth Team is not really worth it and the thought of not investing in one crossed my mind.
But than I thought: what happens if ALL teams give up their Youth Teams? Where and how would we get NEW PLAYERS from?
....it will be the end of the game if devs don't put young players on the market from their own teams!

What if, but So what ? :-)
Off course all teams will never give up youth schools. In a (player) shortage situation it would be incredibly profitable financially (unlike now !) to keep the Y.S open :-)
For now, I’m agree, Youths school (and young players trainers club) are just middlemen to provide stars for top teams, and the rest, 95% of juniors, are ‘useless’, sells at 1 dollar.

What if nobody trains keepers?
What if nobody trains defenders?
What if...?
It's the market, friend!

Not much of o philosopher, are you ? :-))
In life you have to have the "eagle-eye view", not just the usual porn-hub "POV"! :-))
... just saying.
It's just a topic for the fun of it...
What if the owners of sokker die in a plane crash and we all lose our teams?... how about refund of PLUS in that case? :-)))
Now I've done it, now the insults will flow and the topic will get shut down! :-)))
Lack of imagination is worse than lack of sense of humor and lack of sense of humor is worse than impotence! :-))

as there would not be new players everyone would play with oldies, sack coaches because there is no one to coach but the game would go on
well, at least until everyone would have starting eleven of only 8x tragic players; I think then someone would think that something might be terribly wrong with that game and maybe it's time to change something and they would open YS

What I was thinking, maybe it would be more fun if every week new ,young, players would randomly join your team (16 to 19 y.o.a.). Each week one or two, just randomly... you get notified that "one young player decided to join your team " and then he immediately appears as part of the main team, regardless if you have a Youth Team or not.
That's a joke, but not a good one :-/
Imo the best thing is that youth players will gradually show their skills, so you could know how ''good'' the player actually is before promoting him.
Blind promoting is actually stupid. Irl youth player must prove their worth to receive a chance to enter the team.
Imo, players till the age of 21 must stay within the youth team, unless they are good enough to play for your senior team.
And you should decide, before they turn 22, if you take them into your team or not...
If not, they should come for sale automatically, but then you won't receive any money for them, since they became free agents.
Buying free agents = cash flow out of the game... Another win!
Free agents should develop themselves according to their talent and each 13 or 26 weeks they should come for sale automatically until they turn 30.
Also with sacked players...

You could still fire them!
Every day there are young players showing up at some club's door asking for a trial! Reasons are infinite, starting with their parents relocating to a nother city (or country) to "x" other reasons...
Teams see their skills and they decide if they give them a chance or not! This way beginners can get a super-player from day 1! It will be a lottery!
The free-agent stuff is not bad...
