Subject: [idea] End of season awards

2021-10-12 21:44:33
Chucho to All
I do not know if the idea has been proposed but here it goes.

It should create economic prizes to the teams at the end of the season, example

League A
1st place....781 250 $
2nd place...625 000 $
3rd place....468 750 $

League B
1st place....312 500 $
2nd place...250 000 $
3rd place....156 250 $

And improve the economic prize of the National Cup, example in Venezuela is 250 000 $ and I think the amount is a joke

I hope to make myself understood since I use a translator

You are right current awards are a joke, 0 euro for 1st place is the biggest joke.

With this, the gap between the stronger and weaker teams will only increase.

strong teams exist because of the work of their owners.

There must be some motivation to get as high as possible in the league table.

Placing a trophy on your record as it does not help you much but allows you to grow

Or we will have to wait and see if a jeke like PSG arrives, M Cuty o Newcastle

+1 Difference is way to big from First League A to Second League B, the way it was proposed! I agree with Chucho but the gap should not be bigger than 250K in my opinion!
League A
1st place....3 250 000 lei
2nd place...3 000 000 lei
3rd place....2 750 000 lei

League B
1st place....2 500 000 lei
2nd place...2 250 000 lei
3rd place....2 000 000 lei

League C
1st place....1 750 000 lei
2nd place...1 500 000 lei
3rd place....1 250 000 lei

League D
1st place....1 000 000 lei
2nd place... 750 000 lei
3rd place.... 500 000 lei

League E
1st place.... 250 000 lei
2nd place... 150 000 lei
3rd place.... 50 000 lei

... just an example!

I’m ok that winning and reaching top positions should be rewarded. Not only position but reaching a better league level should be reward too! :-)

But no rewards it’s also not so true…

When we reach top positions we also improve ranking, fan mood, sponsor, finally stadium money. And all of this depend of the overall ranking of your opponents too.

It’s for example not very fair to get the same fix money reward (for positions) when the league/pool is harder (in term of overall teams player rating) than another league/pool.

But in term of symbolic I’m ok with position price rewards.

Yes, there should be more money for those who are playing all the time for good results to get for them advantage against those who stay for few seasons in last league and do nothing,

Again...as I proposed some time ago...

This is only good if the purpose is to reward managers who want to play for the prices.
But also being competitive should be rewarded. There are lots of teams who don't care about their sportive achievements but focus only on trading, training and therefor growing financially without even trying to book results. And this can be countered with these kind of bonuses for league end positions and cup rounds achievements. F.e.... reaching quarter final for national cup should also have a reward! And another for semi finalists and an even bigger for the finalists and in the end for the winner!
Also, each league division except the bottom one should have an entry fee you should pay at the start of each season to make "sitting on your money", doing nothing but farming, training and trading very expensive.
Also each season you are within the bottom division, and you have more then 10M profit in total and not invested in your club you should receive a fine for neglecting your team! This will punish the non sportive farming teams!
Teams who do this for 3 seasons in a row should lose their foorball licence and stadium! A renewal for the licence should cost around 1M and each division should have a stadium minimum capacity.
A new base stadium should also cost 10M!
This way you will also have a better manager experience.

+1 would add price for 4th place at the end friendly games between seasons do not give enough income as playoff

+ 1000

Your proposals are radical and will have serious side effects.

You reward top teams for cup when newest teams have no chance to reach the last rounds? The first result will be to increase the gap level between newer and old teams.

Reaching a higher league require more money investment and you need to pay a ‘fee’ ? That’s how you reward investment ? Not all teams that sit in a league are farmers, but teams that re just facing a huge level gap in their own division. Not to say that farmer teams that training young’s usually sit in lower leagues and block many new teams.

Many teams that are just trying to reduce the gap level keep carefully their money, and you want to punish those teams ? 10M it’s just the price of only one top player, Those teams are not typically Farmer teams.

your proposals that should be fair are unfair, its result from a lack of deeper reflection.

The main problem is the training system.

When we have a predictable, slow and linear player progression during age, the result is typically farming and trading. A young player arrives at a low general level, he is systematically increases skills over time according to his talent and a long training, then decrease at 30y.

Traders/farmers know well how to predict prices and this encourages trading/farming, it’s As Simple as that!

Now let's imagine another system:
Young players could start at low or even very high general levels (e.g. Messi at 19y). Then the player progression and training dependence would be very low over the time and regression unpredictable/random during ages (not at 30y). Then there would be no more farming and trading swap because we would have no more prediction of resale prices and no more top skills progression during times. That would change the game seriously.

But you would have to reinvent the system of training and progression of players in sokker completely, it won't happen.

I was writing with smartphone and didn't want the entire proposal written again...

The idea behind those ''punishings'' is to punish non-sportive teams! The farming teams as we know them. Training, buying, celling and that's it.
And the rewarding for sportive results should be high enough to cover the costs.
All teams are farming in a way, but that doesn't make them farming teams.
