Subject: [idea] End of season awards
I was writing with smartphone and didn't want the entire proposal written again...
The idea behind those ''punishings'' is to punish non-sportive teams! The farming teams as we know them. Training, buying, celling and that's it.
And the rewarding for sportive results should be high enough to cover the costs.
All teams are farming in a way, but that doesn't make them farming teams.
@DiBaciu... you're welcome to join our community if you like to be oppressed by your handler! :-p
@juytt...When you're ready to stand on your own 2 feet, you can crawl from under mine! :-p

The main idea of my proposal is to reward in some way the achievements of a team and not simply trophies in the History that are useless.
If you are concerned about the gap that exists between teams, then tell everyone who has a superior team that their time in the game will be taken away, you take away their money and place players like when they started in the game
I do not understand how they can pretend to want a new team to be compared with teams that are years old. Dismissing all the time invested of the old DTs

I know this has been asked to @juytt but I can give a simple reply. If there is a ceiling to the max amount of money that can be owned by a club, then most of the problems will be sorted. I don't have a huge idea of the economics and whether there'll be problems because of this radical idea, but it's just my opinion currently. If this max money idea is implemented then I'll agree with you. The clubs can cross the max money if they get a bonus from winning trophies.

You write a little on your smartphone but did you read an entire answer ? Take your time :-)
I had already understood your punishment idea, I’m not against. But all your proposals re a punishment for others non farming teams too as I explain point by point.

I’m not against money rewards for winning.
But…
The gap between new and old teams is an inevitable issue: all the rewards will come in the pockets of the older ones.
Among these older teams, there are farming teams that have never been competitive, that stay in the lower leagues, and prevent new teams from playing the competition.
The reason for this I have already explained: the longer you play, the more reward you get. Farming and trading is the best way to improve your finances. This is the way sokker is designed. You can add rewards for those who play competitively, it will never be enough compared to reselling and taking care of the training of your players.

And it's not like I'm complaining, I'm one of those old teams! I’m in.
I know very well that the best thing is not to spend your money to reach the best divisions and win, but to wait patiently in lower divisions to have enough money to be competitive against richer and even older clubs than me in higher division.

You can give the new teams some more starting money to make it more equal. You need to work hard to get in the highest division and this must be rewarded.
New players will like it also if they can reach more rewards after doing a good job. It is a win win situation if you will look at it this way.

You didn’t not understand : giving rewards money to top competitors or new team will not change the main factor of growing (money) : a linear training and progressive system that help to grow your economy (and your team) during times whatever re your results.
Let’s me try one example (but there is a lot of other examples I can write if you want…)
I actually got enough money to buy 12 players around 33 years to reach the #1 league level and (maybe) win. That’s what we call being competitive no? But if I do that, in two seasons it would be an economic nightmare for my team because all my players will loose values. Any f* rewards will be a lost if it doesn’t compensate the millions lost in player values and wages. So you can give rewards, many teams will choose to keep focus on their training and not fighting against stronger/ richer club.
Thats how sokker is design : the longer you play the more you can cumulate money if you take care of this money. it does not matter if you win or lost, the training and resell system is the main factor to grow your economy.

I do understand, i play this game for a long time with a lot of succes, but still we need a system with rewards for winning a league in my opninion.
Your example is not right, you can buy an older team and training younger players also, i do this for ages and with succes.
This game is a combination between training younger players and have a team that can play in the top division, so focus at both things all the time.
I know a lot of managers dont do this and that is the reaseon they are not staying in top division fo a long time.
I play in top division for ages ( except 1 season), it is possible if you will do the right thing.

But you just confirmed what I said.
Without this training system (during « ages » ! ) you shouldn’t have to balance your finances with youngers. Good to you, you play this combination with success. But for most of the teams, whatever are successes or not, teams are not focus on competition to grow or keep their finances.
So give a little money rewards, it will goes mostly into the pocket of richer / older club in their own leagues. its ok, I’m not against. But that will never change the competition, most of the team will continue to grow during ages without rewards and without being competitive. It’s just an evidence that top clubs in sokker are the older s ones active, or the better trading teams, not mainly the best football strategy teams on the pitch.

This ME has proven multiple times that the luck factor is too big for the real tacticians to be succesfull. Succes is the result of 50% luck, 25% tactic and 25% skill.
And it needs to be adjusted so that the distribution becomes 20% luck, 40% skill and 40% tactic.
Also the ''broken'' skill features in the ME, where divine players act like noobs should be removed because it's annoying to say the least, that a quadruple divine player gives a pass to the striker of the opponent or runs out of play with the ball.
Also divine defender skill should ''give'' the player the ability to read the game when your opponent is attacking. Running towards a player, knowing he won't get there is not the way to defend. Also running away from his position when a player comes through, knowing he leaves his direct marked player unmarked is stupid. It's not logical that they need to have at least formidable / outstanding playmaking to make slightly better decisions and that even divine defenders with divine playmaker run out of their position when a midfielder broke past his marker.
And all this makes that it's very hard to win a competition when all managers in your league are on par with each other. But for the completely wrong reason, cause it's based on luck mainly.
But when this all would be changed, then I think it's only fair to adjust the rewards in favor of the competitive and better teams. It will make the game more immersive and people are willing to strive for rewards more. It's okay to have players as biggest source of income, but it still has to be a manager game, not a trading game in it's core.
That's why I propose to remove the impossibility to sell a player right after he's bought (the 4 weeks rule) BUT introduce a tax for players sold before they are at least 8 weeks in your team. It should be 40% of the price you paid to buy him with a minimum of 50k so players bought for 1€, or 2k f.e. wouldn't be sold earlier unless you are willing to pay for it. Also, having more then 30 players UNDER 35 years old (to exclude passive players or memorable older players) should be taxed with 50k for each player over that amount, for each week that he's within your team!
Therefor it's a must that your trainers notice you if the amount is exceeded so you can sell a player to prevent this cost.
In the end, it all comes down to making this game a true manager game, rewarding competitive managers over trading managers. Yes, trading is a must and a large deal of the game, but it should not be the base of the game, but an addition! And good rewards are necessary to change the core of the game.

That’s not true that’s ME is 50% luck otherwise we should see much more teams with more or less rating skills in top divisons. If we check, the most rating team are in top leagues. Not a surprise. Not a random. The ratio is closer than 80%-70% skiLls and the rest, luck and tactics.
But maybe you are so bad in tactic and luck to just check the evidence :-p

Sure... neglect the truth...
The difference in skill is obvious. I'm talking about teams who are on par with each other...

If some people still have some doubts about how trading is killing this game just have a look at this team : https://sokker.org/team/teamID/50877
Such teams are making an insame amount of money in a very short time with trading and in the same time they are staying comfortably at the bottom of their league playing corner tactics.
Something must be done to prevent this kind of toxic behaviours and to reward instead the competitive managers.
Sokker should be a manager game, not a trading game.

I can only say: "Respect!" :-)))
In such a short time such a huge profit... incredibile!
How do they do it?...
Who wouldn't want to have such a high knowledge of the market to be able to do such a high profit in such a short period?
Check out this team out!
https://sokker.org/team/teamID/94732 ... "evil" team name also!
I think we should do a special topic just for that, for "our traders ", just to se the numbers that they have managed do! Should we? :-))

We already have a lot of topics about that. devs are aware about trading and introduce limits to transfer (4 weeks / games at least to sell a player).
The hearth of the problem is the training system which is linear progressive and predictable. we can’t resolve this by introducing again transfer limits again (not all team are trading teams) or just adding rewards (prefer trading and stay in lower divs with 100m profit than getting competitive and rewards)…
And again, even without trading, the older team you are, the more profits you can get with training + rewards during times.
devs seems not understand their own games. They want a more competitive game as a goal, but they don’t want to reform the game: every new features are design above the current system.
The next training system is a copy of the actual system, but in worst, because we can better focus on specific training for each players, that mean more profit for trading teams.
